Maravilhoso resume tudo! Estávamos em lua-de-mel, simplesmente fomos muito bem recebidos no Porto de Capri. Os proprietários são muito amigáveis e atenciosos. Melhor café da manhã de toda a nossa viagem. A propósito, o atendente do café é muito animado e alegrava nossas manhãs diante de uma vista incomparável! Quero voltar sempre!

I was in honeymoon trip. This place is wonderful! The sea view makes our morning very relaxing and beautiful. The best breakfast that I had in my whole travel. The owners welcomes us very well. Thank you for your attention with us during our stay. I really would like to return in this hotel again in my next travel.

We caught the ferry from Sorrento to Capri and were met upon arrival by one of the employees from the Capri Wine Hotel who was most cheerful and polite. Upon arrival Raffaele was waiting for us and took us to our room – which had the WOW factor. A 4-poster bed with a small lounge area and balcony with a view straight out to Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. The bathroom is WOW also. Raffaele then showed us where the complimentary breakfast is served outside weather permitting, and inside in the wine bar if inclement weather. We chilled on our balcony with a few drinks. The fridge is well stocked with a selection of wines. We then decided to go and explore Capri Central with was about a 10-minute walk away up hill. Full of expensive hotels and designer label boutiques and tourists. The views from the top are beautiful. We wanted to dine out and Raffaele’s wife Elena was manning the desk when we returned. She said there was a local restaurant a few minutes’ walk away and we asked her if she would book. We had no idea what we were walking into, but it was breathtaking. Panorama (you must go there). We loved it so much we returned the next night. But back to Capri Wine Hotel which is a family run hotel and winery. The weather was a little unpredictable, but we were lucky to dine both mornings on Elena's sumptuous breakfast out on the garden terrace and lemon grove, overlooking the Bay of Naples. Just exquisite and it should be noted that Elena is a fabulous cook! We walked up to Tiberius castle which commands spectacular views of Capri and the mainland. On our last night we had few drinks in the wine bar and had a lengthy chat with Raffaele who is a mad fisherman about food, wine and fish. This hotel is the real deal. Raffaele and Elena are generous hosts who love what they do. Their aim is to make their guests feel spoiled. They do a marvellous job as do their staff. We hope to go back if not to just sample Elenora’s homemade marmalade!
