I've been visiting the island for 24 years and every time I have friends over, before I even settle down at home, I have them stop and try the fried ravioli capresi. Instant addiction follows and every day we have to stop to buy some. They are the absolute best treat in the island. The owners are wonderful people, friendly and fun. All the food is fresh and of excellent quality and the cooks are all locals, well cognizant of the nuanced flavors of Capri cuisine. Often, when preparing for dinner parties, our family buys the night's meal there. Also, it is one of the best quality/price ratios you will find on the island. 5 stars well-deserved!

Just a bar to pick something on the go, almost nothing to choose from and very unpleasant servants. Don't go there!
Shouldn't be marked as a restaurant as it isn't one. You lose your time to find it and frustrating to get there and not be able to sit and eat.

We tried the fresh cheese ravioli with simple tomato sauce, arancini balls and meatballs.

Loved the ravioli, would recommend it wholeheartedly; my toddler adored the arancini (couldn't get enough!) and the meatballs weren't to my taste, but he liked those too!

Lovely service, worth hunting down in the side streets!

We got ravioli and the Italian brownie cake dessert. Both are super yummy and worth the price. We wandered through the side streets of Capri which were interesting to see how those there lived. I would recommend as a quick pick up for food while you walk around. There's no where to sit inside so you'll have to walk back to the piazza and sit.

Pros:

Cheap (especially for Capri)
Good food (mostly cold foods only)

Cons:

It's quite difficult to find - it is tucked away on a tiny sidestreet off the main town roads.
Nowhere to sit
Majority of food is served cold only
If you go to Capri you should probably spend more to eat in the more established restaurants.

Overall: would recommend if you are on a tight budget, however, there are many nicer areas to eat in Capri.
