Had a wonderful lunch at this Hotel!
With the throngs of tourists everywhere finding this jewel was timely
Sitting under 100 year old lemon trees enjoying great food and wine was a real treat!
Holidays is about relaxing and for an hour or so I was happy to be spending time here
Service was good

My 15 year old daughter and I were guests of the hotel July 2- 4, 2019. The Lemon Garden and pool area were just beautiful. The service was wonderful. The location was around the corner from the best gelato, always a line. Located around the bend from the main piazza and funicular. Invest in the transfer from the ferry. We took a transfer from Naples airport which included escort to ferry with tickets and escort at Capri end with taxi and baggage handled. If you attempt this yourself be aware that the taxi from ferry can only take you to the piazza and you must walk the remainder of the way on cobblestone streets uphill a ways dragging your bag in the heat. Mind you there is no one to direct you to your hotel. No baggage and once you have your bearings no problem to walk to taxi/ bus area.

Room tip: Balcony with view of pool and Lemon Garden was nice

Beautifully decorated rooms that are light and fresh. Traditional painted tiles on floor and bathroom. The staff were very helpful and carry your luggage up the few steps to enter the property. Great central location.

We stayed on Capri at Hotel Syrene for 2 nights.

The hotel is well kept and very clean. We had a classic sea view double which was traditional style with painted tiles and balcony overlooking the amazing views. All of the hotel staff were amazing! Extremely helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble!

The pool area and restaurant were beautiful with lemon trees overhanging the tables. The food served was very good and we enjoyed lunch on the pool terrace and breakfast outside on the balcony overlooking the sea.

The location of the hotel was brilliant for us! A 5 minute walk from the main square and just far enough away from the busy hustle and bustle! On arrival at Capri we weren’t entirely sure how to get to the hotel so we took a taxi (€22 approx) to the main square then walked. An easier way would have been to take the fenicular up to the main square. It is also a fraction of the cost of a taxi at €2 euros per person each way!

We hired a boat one afternoon and enjoyed a tour of the island. We booked through Capri Precious (https://www.capriprecious.com/ ) and Nico and Alessandro took care of all of the arrangements. Roberto our captain was hugely knowledgeable of the area and we enjoyed a private 3 hours on the boat viewing the dramatic landscape and sampling homemade lemoncello!

We also took the chairlift up to Solerno which has stunning views across the island. This too was fairly easy by getting the bus from Capri (€4 return per person) to Anacapri then taking the chairlift to the top (€12 return per person).

Every meal we had on Capri was lovely! The service could not be faulted.

My personal highlight was some beautiful handmade flip flops my husband bought me. ‘Fiore’ will make them for you and you choose the crystals! What more does a girl need!

We had a lovely time and will definitely consider returning!
