“Amazing and worthy of the price you pay for”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

My rate: AAAA++++++: the location is great: the tables are over a terrazza on the sea , facing the old ruins( what's left) of one of 12 villas of the Emperor Tiberio. Food is gorgeous, the staff'kindness is great and Enzo is very helpful in explaining the ingredients of every course or suggesting the "piatto del giorno".
In July and August the restaurant is open also for dinner 2 evenings (It seems to me tuesdays and fridays). If you have the chance, go and eat there. I think it's very romantic . Unfortunately I couldn't try because in June it's not open for evening.
Don't worry how to reach it: they give you a lift on their boat ( I don't know if you have to pay the lift if you go only to the restaurant).

“A dive in history”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

You will be taken by boat from the port to this secluded beach just to swimm among romans ruins of one of Tiberious Villas.

Super frendly and helpful staff, Carmine and his team will make your day perfect.
Also the restaurant is very good where Carmine's mother will delight you with the freschest cacth of the day or some amaizing pasta with porcini mushroom and claims.

Will go back

“I would fly back to Italy just to come back here”
Reviewed July 8, 2014 via mobile

This place is amazing. It is a little out cove about 1 mile from Capri's main harbor. You can only access it by boat - either a private boat or they have a shuttle from the main harbor that will bring you. It is a family owned place right on the water. I mean right on the water - there are even parts of an ancient Roman retaining wall that are still in place. The colors out the windows are like being in a painting. The family serves you the most amazing things fresh from the sea. We had grilled octopus, fresh fish and a house wine that was made on Capri. 100% recommend going here if you are on Capri and it is worth the day trip or several hours on the hydros just to go here for lunch from Naples, Sorrento, or Amalphi areas.

“Fisherman and Chef”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Competition is stiff. One way to differentiate is to position your restaurant as a place where the day's catch is served. The fisherman becomes the Chef. You can't get any fresher seafood than this. This place is one of those.
We enjoyed the whole experience from the jetty pick up, transit by boat to choosing the seafood. The only access to this restaurant is by boat.
We were there for lunch. I only wonder how the dinner experience could be like.
Memorable!

“One of the most memorable meals of any vacation!!!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Calling all foodies - this is a must go. It is on the water, you arrive by boat, it's stunning, the food is incredible, and the service is great. We decided to go to this restaurant after a foodie travel site recommended it and we were not disappointed. We took the restaurant’s boat which picks up customers in Marina Grande that takes you to the restaurant - 10 min boat ride. It is so special to arrive to the restaurant by boat because you get to see a bit of Capri's coast line. Not many places in the world are you able to arrive to old roman baths and a beautiful restaurant built over the water. We were greeted by our water and sat at one of the tables where the bright blue water just in front of you. We order a lovely dry rose recommended by the waiter, marinated sardines and salmon to start, their signature dishes: zucchini pasta and squid ink ravioli stuffed with prawns . Both dishes were AMAZING!!!!! My mouth waters thinking about this meal. I would go back in a second if I could. The zucchini pasta was light and a bit cheesy and the prawn ravioli was perfectly done. Everything was wiped clean with our bread if that gives you any indication of how good it was. We had coffee and an affogato for dessert and our meal came out to about 81 Euros. If you are going to Capri, PUT THIS ON YOUR LIST.
