Generally this Grotta is viewed as part of a Boat ride around the Isle of Capri, and the Captain (named Rocky) will stop at the Grotta for a few minutes to enjoy the spectacular colors that Grotta's produce.

We missed the last group boat tour of the day; however, this turned out to be the best thing that could have happened! We chartered a private boat and captain to take us around the island, and he stopped at all the nooks and crannies including the Green Grotta. It's so beautiful and looks like light is emanating from underneath the water. Stunning!

As part of our boat charter with Gianni we saw all the grotto's but we loved this one and yes you can be dropped off on one side swim through and be picked up the other side. Amazing!

That´s my advise: don´t do the "acqua bus" tour of Capri but rent your own motorboat or charter one and enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean sea. Swim and relax.
