We came to visit Capri to see my Italian family who live here. But unlike 17 years ago when we last came, we were bringing our 3 children with us (because 17 yrs ago we had none!).
Not the cheapest island in the world but one of the most beautiful!

Capri Town Apartments we found by chance and my cousins said it was a good place to stay.

We were welcomed warmly by the brother and sister who own and run the apartments. They gave us any information we needed and left us to it, but were there if we needed them anytime.

The apartment is literally 30m from the main piazza in central Capri. Everything right on the doorstep.

There are 2 apartments. We are a family of 5, so our apartment consisted of 2 bedrooms (1 large double and 1 large room which fitted 3 single beds comfortably), a kitchen area, 1 bathroom. Great wardrobe space and everything required for a comfortable stay.

The apartment is cleaned everyday and towels changed every 2 days. Just like a hotel! The apartment is modern and lovely. The best thing is the large terrace (shared with the other apartment) with the most stunning views towards the marina. We sat here every evening before going out into town for dinner. Bought wine and crisps from the local supermarket and sat and relaxed.

There isn't one negative that any of my family have had staying at the Capri Town Apartments (and that's saying something!). I would highly recommend anyone looking to book somewhere in Capri to stay here.

My friends and I stayed at this apartment for a week and it was amazing. The apartment itself had all new appliances and was very organized. It had a great view where you can see all of marina grande! The location was super close to the main the square and all public transportation. Spectacular terrace where you can enjoy a nice drink and relax. Price and service was great, the owner was friendly and helped us with everything! Awesome experience definitely do it again!

My husband, 17 year old daughter, and I stayed at Capri Town Apartments for 3 nights. Everything was great: the apartment, the location just a few minutes’ walk from the piazza, accessibility to everything nearby. My review is based on our expectations and our desire for a mid range hotel with apartment style amenities, located close to visitor sights. We like to explore part of the day and then retreat to our apartment to relax part of the day too. We don't need fancy, but we do need a comfortable place to temporarily call "home".

The funicular is closed from January through March, but there is a bus alternative from Marina Grande to the piazza. We decided to walk up the steps since we arrived March 31- not recommended with luggage although we packed light, as it was a bit hot and about a 30 minute walk upward. A taxi or bus would have been best. The funicular is a great inexpensive option, which we took back on our departure. The apartment is easiest to find from the funicular as well.

We arrived earlier than our check in time, we were greeted by Stefano and given terrific restaurant and sight seeing recommendations and a map. We were allowed to leave our luggage and explore the town until our apartment was clean and ready. The apartments are right on the stairs to the piazza near the funicular, separated by a locked gate for privacy.

The apartment was huge! Two bedrooms, two baths, a large living room and dining room table, as well as a full kitchen and – happily – a washing machine. Everything was clean and nicely decorated – simple but classy, tall ceilings. We also had direct access to the shared covered balcony overlooking the mountain and sea – lovely to enjoy a glass of wine.

Beds were firm and comfortable – we got 8 hours of sleep! The pillows were awesome. Kitchen was stocked with dishwashing soap, paper towels, coffee and an espresso machine – so we were able to have an espresso on the balcony in the morning. No meals are included because it's a self serve apartment.

Bathrooms were large, and hot water worked consistently. Toiletries were provided and plentiful.

Wifi was free and worked well.

Washing machine worked well. We brought our own detergent but you can buy it at the supermarket.

There is a supermarket very close by, and bus/taxi access just upstairs at the piazza. Although the center of Capri was very busy and touristy by day, it was delightful after day trippers went home – we could wander the streets at our leisure and window shop without fighting the crowds.

Stefano and his sister live nearby so they are always around if you need anything.

We hated to leave – would highly recommend Capri Town Apartments for an affordable way to really enjoy Capri during a multiple-night stay. A great value for Capri.
