The bar is located in the main square in Capri town and is furnished exactly the same as the other bars there… and thousands of other places throughout Southern Europe. It was a quiet Wednesday evening in October so not much in the way of an atmosphere.
We sat for quite a while before we were able to order some drinks and then waited longer before they came. The waiter was courteous and delivered our two glasses of Greco di Tufo, some nibbles to go along with them and a bill of €18. Fortunately we didn’t have time to have a second.
The prices were expected to be high however we were also expecting something a bit more classy and some ambiance but went away disappointed.
