We had heard that if you want to eat in The Piazza on Capri, this is the place to eat. All restaurants here will be overpriced. That's a given. It's on the main thoroughfare on a VERY popular, touristy island. You might as well leave satisfied if you're going to spend more than you might like on your lunch.
We had pizza and Caesar salad. Both were delicious! I LOVE iced tea, and the iced tea was the best I had while traveling in Italy. I had no idea how expensive it was or I wouldn't have ordered a second - $7 each. My husband's beer was very expensive as well.
Our waiter was excellent, not snobby or pushy, and very attentive. This was better service than I expected in such a touristy place. It was great fun to relax in the shade and watch everyone go by. Italian's don't rush you from the table so we could take our time.
