The general rule with these beach clubs is that you book and pay for sunbeds and a restaurant booking as a "package" so that you spend the day there - this is the best idea to get the most from the venue. The restaurants at most beach clubs are expensive for what you get (the food is usually fairly basic) so you might feel short-changed if you just come for lunch. So book the sunbeds, come for the day and relax. We arrived about midday and were directed to our sun beds. We enjoyed a few drinks and a swim before our lunch booking at 3.00pm. The food was very pleasant but nothing to rave about. After lunch we retired back to the sun beds and swam, sunbathed and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon - leaving about 6pm. The bill comes at the end which includes the cover charge, the sunbeds, the lunch and the drinks so believe me - it does add up! The walk to and from Capri town is beautiful and well worth it - if not extremely strenuous getting back up the mountain but we needed to burn off lunch. its a tough walk back up so don't bother if you are not moderately fit. You can get the boat shuttle back to Marina Piccolo and then get a massively expensive taxi back up to the town. When in Capri - a beach club is a must and La Florentina is one of the famous ones. you only need to do one as an experience, but make a day of it, don't worry about the cost, enjoy the glamour and the experience and pretend that you are famous for a day!

This is a must! Is it expensive? YES, is it worth it? YES do this once because you will not regret! You MUST have a reservation - arrive around 11:30 I like to walk there and once you do this you'll see what I mean long long walk down! - tip the guy so he places your chair or mat in a good spot (crazy I know but hey) - enjoy the scene - lay around, swim then around 2 have lunch - everything is great - have Sangria and experience the true Capri life! Leave by water taxi around 4:30-5 another fun experience it's 2E

A rocky beach with style and good food!
You can only reach this place from Marina Picola by boat or you can walk (climb) down from Punta Tragara Hotel. Once there you will not regret it! Don't try to climb up though, unless you are very fit! Food is very good and fresh, mainly seafood and pasta. Efficient service.

About half an hour walk from Capri center, along pleasant and well kept footpaths, but quite a gradual descent at the end. The restaurant is the usual sea side construction, with terraces to the sea, quite pleasant and weather permitting nice for a swim. Open restaurant with transparent awnings to protect from the wind and "thatched" covering. Lots of staff. Food fine service a bit grudging, not really making an effort.

La Fontelina was one of our favorite days on our Amalfi trip! The hike down from our hotel was really cool and scenic, beautiful views as we descended to the water. The club is actually among the rocks! The food for lunch was some of our favorite as well - the seafood pasta is a must!!! As well as the sangria. We had an unforgettable day and will definitely be back!
