Went to the beach and enjoyed it - it was a little expensive but worth being away from people and for the walk it took us on! I got stung by a jelly fish as did another girl while we were there so watch out.

They told us there is two shuttles back one at 3 and one at 4 but we were ready to leave a bit sooner so climbed back - would definitely recommend waiting, the climb back up is exhausting!

La Fontelina is a must do when visiting the Isle of Capri - overlooking the famous 'Faraglione' (arched rock)' it's only accessible by either a boat ride, or a fairly steep hike down the hill. This deters the daily crowds that can be unbearable, and makes for a truly wonderful experience. The menu is authentic, and driven by the fresh local seafood available. The wine list is quite extensive, and the service is great. The best part is the view - easy to spend hours over lunch watching the ocean. A very special place! Book early, as the place fills up quickly.

We came across this restaurant and sunbathing terrace when we ventured down to Faraglioni rocks on a walk recommended by our hotel. It was really busy and we had a table at the far end of the terrace which had a lovely view but wasn't passed by the waiters very often - it took us a while to gain their attention and order hence my very good and not excellent review. Our lunch was lovely - in fact probably the best tuna nicoise that I have ever tasted - expect to pay an inflated price for the food and view though.

I have never expected 5-star food here, and in fact never found it, but I keep coming here because the location is unique, the food is simple and pleasant and the service is very good. The waiters seem to all enjoy what they are doing and it is a pleasure being served by them with always a smile in their faces and a good advice on what to eat and drink.

We were on a walk and happened upon a path and ended up at La Fontelina.A beautiful setting and it was lunchtime-we were hungry after that walk down.We had a wonderful lunch with a pitcher of sangria ,watching the water, boats, and sunbathers. The staff was excellent.
