We had the pleasure of staying here for a week in June for our honeymoon. What an amazing place to stay overlooking Sorrento. Massimiliano met us on our arrival and made us feel very welcome with his warm Italian charm. The fridge was stocked with local fresh food, wine and Lemoncello.
It's hard to explain just how much land you actually get with this villa for two (plus camp bed?).
We counted seating outside to accommodate 18 persons?
The pool was just exotic. The views were second to none. The BBQ area was nice too. The villa itself was perfect, nice authentic Italian kitchen with a huge fridge freezer, open plan staircase down to lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Bed's were very comfortable, internal stone everywhere with a nice oak floor. The only negative with this place was the shower, it was only a bit over 70cm quadrant, so if you're any bigger than 14st then you'll find it a squeeze! It's crying out for a walk in wet room type bathroom as it's certainly got the room for it.
All in all, what a wonderful place.
Sorrento itself was lovely and we will be back.

I can not rave about Torre d'Alba enough. Booking was a breeze and Massimiliano was easy to reach and answered all of our questions. The watchtower was in impeccable condition upon arrival and Massimiliano even stocked up the fridge with the basics for us to get us started. The grounds were great and had many spots to sit and enjoy the property. The View has got to be the best in all of Sorrento. Pool was amazing and we even used the BBQ twice after a trip to the local grocer and butcher. You have your own parking space behind a security gate.
Top shelf 5 star service! Truly a special property!!

We had a fantastic stay at Torre d'Alba. Great weather, fabulous trips and glorious food.
The villa is incredible and we were well looked after. The location is about a 20 minute walk up hill from Sorrento. Not for the faint hearted; but so worth the views at the top!
Massimiliano was a fabulous host and was very informative on where to go. He booked our boat trip to Capri for us which was amazing.
The groceries and wine were very welcome on arrival as were the local maps and the taxi from town once we had gathered our supplies for the week.
Still look at the holiday photos and marvel at the views we had from the villa - amazing!

This villa feels luxurious and well equipped but its most striking feature is its spectacular location, perched on the cliff high above Sorrento with tremendous views over the town and across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. It's also set among a series of terraced gardens, which feel private and lush. The owners house its next door but set a bit higher up the hill, far enough away that its doesn't intrude at all, and completely screened by vegetation too. Massimiliano, who manages the property, was exceptionally helpful and friendly but took care not to intrude on our privacy. Its in a wonderful spot for exploring the Sorrento peninsula and islands but I was reluctant to leave to shady, breezy bliss of the apartment. A point to note is the very steep hill down into Sorrento - we walked down quite easily in 20mins or so, but we saw others staggering back up on foot to nearby hotels and we wouldn't recommend that. There's parking space for a hire car or there's a bus stop at the end of the lane, a 200m walk from the villa, and buses are regular except on Sunday evenings. A taxi from the station when we arrived cost E35. Its a wonderful place and we had a lovely holiday there - we'd recommend it.
