This hotel a gem. It is 2 to 3 minutes walk from Tasso Square. Breakfast was more than adequate, plenty of choice, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese etc and plenty of it, plus of course there were the home cooked cakes, very tasty. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were excellent, clean with showers that had plenty of hot water! We would recommend this hotel, for either a long or short break. Teresa was a real star, she sorted our transport problems within minutes, always cheerful which made a nice start to the day.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Probably 2 min walking to the train station. Right next to the market where you can buy almost anything you'll need. Room is clean (although they didnt change our sheets for all our stay there - 4 nights). Breakfast below average, they have this coffee machine that they should get rid off, coffee tasted like water. Staff was really helpful with suggestions around food and transportation. Do plan to visit Pompeii by their local train ( only 2 euros) - 30 min. We decided to skip the bus and rent a taxi to Positano. About 75 euros for the minivan, so we found 2 more couples and split the bill in 3 - this was much faster and more pleasant get away.
DO skip Pizzeria Leonte... or whatever its called (just around the corner). Food is not good there, we went twice because we thought we would give them another chance - it was a mistake, they dont know how to make pizzas. Save yourself money and look elsewhere.
DO visit capri and the Blue Grotto ( plan to shell out 12.5 euros for the entry alone).

Room Tip: Ask for room with a view if possible, we didnt and end up having a room with a view onto the wall of...

My wife and I stayed here for three night in September of 2012. The location of this hotel is excellent! Right in the heart of town and walking distance to everything. The room was a bit small but other than that no major complaints.

The hotel is 2 mins from centre but not noisy at all. room was very clean and plenty big enough after all why would you spend time in your room when your in the heart of sorrento. Breakfast was basic but the cakes were home cooked and very tasty we were always full!! Teresa was fab and gave us lots of tips and nothing was too much trouble she even printed off our boarding cards.
would highly recommend!

I arrived after a difficult journey with 2 plane rides & 3 train trips taking over 27 hours. Needless to say I was exhausted! Teresa welcomed me & I was very pleased with my room. It was small, but that was fine, as it was a single room. It was clean, had excellent air conditioning & I had a balcony to sit on overlooking the street below. It was only 2 blocks from the train station which was important to me. I was there one night before taking the bus to Positano to rent an apartment. The place suited my needs. They served a nice breakfast too.

Room Tip: I liked the balcony but if you are a light sleeper ask for a room in back.

Great location - close to train and all the action (e.g. shops, restaurants). Room is very average but clean. Breakfast also very average, but good enough. Internet connection very weak - had to sit by the door of our room to send an email. Girls at reception were very friendly (however male receptionist who checked us out was a bit odd - asked me if the t.v. remote was still in our room?? Did he think I stole it?! Lol) My main complaint though is the price - we paid apx. $185 CAD a night so I expected a bit more. Most rooms on our European vacation were around $140/night (even in the very touristy places) and they were as good or better. I would say here again if the price was reduced, but not worth $185.
