This small B+B was the perfect place to stay in Sorrento. The owner, Ciro, and hostess Marianna were great hosts. They helped us make arrangements for train/ bus excursions... they also printed out our boarding passes for our flight home. Breakfast is served in a beautiful and quiet outdoor patio with orange and lemon trees. The Italian breakfast included the best coffee/cappuccino, fresh focaccia bread, yogurt, OJ, and fantastic fresh baked croissants filled with apricot preserves. Ciro also owns a marvelous restaurant called da Gigino's which is right around the corner. The pasta and pizzas are the best! The hotel is located in the middle of the restaurant and shopping district of Sorrento. It was also a 5 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are good-size and VERY clean. Each room has it's own bathroom and is also air conditioned. It is quiet and peaceful place to stay in the middle of all the action. You won't find a better place for location and price. I will return there on my next trip to beautiful Sorrento.

Room Tip: rooms 4 and 5 were great.

The stay at Casa Dominova has been very relaxing, the room was spotless & very comfortable, there was plenty of storage for clothes. The bed was very comfortable & I was provided with an extra pillow on request.
The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious & the family that run this b&b are so helpful,
Directions to attractions on hand & help with anything we needed was given with a smile, nothing was too much trouble
The b&b also have a pizzeria/restaurant in walking distance Da Gigino's, where we were given a 10% discount on the very yummy food they serve there.
We will definitely be returning to Casa Dominova in the future, it is a brilliant place to stay and excellent spot to explore Sorrento & the surrounding areas from.

Room Tip: Just ask the owners for their recommendation of your requirements

Casa Dominova ticked all the boxes for a great holiday experience in the beautiful Amalfi Coast region. The rooms are roomy and comfortable and the hotel is located in a quiet location. The Premises appear to be fairly new. A sumptuous Breakfast is being served in a serene garden setting. If I have one concern then that would be the walk on cobble stones from the railway station to the hotel. These days with most suitcases being on 4 wheels this could present a problem. Of course this takes nothing away from the overall experience we had in Sorrento.
Thank you to Marianne & staff for making our stay a memorable one.

Had 3 night stay here in May 2013. Lovely quiet location, great family run B&B. Marianna makes lovely breakfast coffees. Good location for shopping and also for day trips to Pompeii & Amalfi Coast. Walking distance to all shops, train station & marina.

We stayed as a family of four in room 1 which was very large and clean, and there was adequate storage for clothes (a wardrobe and chest of drawers). The beds were comfortable, but I found the pillows far too thin, and had to bolster mine with a blanket from the cupboard. The bathroom was large, with plenty of hot water and a fridge, but no towel rail, which was an issue when trying to dry off four large bath towels every morning. It was also rather strange that the bathroom was in the corridor outside the bedroom - although it was inside an entry door for the room as a whole, this door was not lockable, and I never felt totally happy that I was totally secure in there.

The room had an efficient air-con/heating unit (which we certainly needed this Spring!) albeit a bit noisy. The bathroom had a small portable heater which was effective.

As other reviewers have noted, Wi-Fi was intermittent, and I found it was only reliable when sitting quite close to the router. It was not reliable in the room.

Breakfast was served outside in the courtyard, even though it was so chilly in the mornings - however this was preferable to being inside the bedroom. Preserve-filled fresh croissants and yoghurts were lovely, as were the sweet breads, and even one morning, a savoury ham and cheese pastry. Coffee was nice (strong and hot) but it would have been nice to have been offered a second cup.

Service was always friendly and reliable - there are maps and some guide books available to look at. A transfer to the railway station in Naples was booked for us at very short notice.

The situation itself was fantastic - central and only minutes from anything you might want to see in Sorrento. We enjoyed strolling the streets and tiny side-streets most evenings. We visited Pompeii by train, Amalfi by bus, and Capri by hydrofoil. There are many many restaurants to choose from, and we never had a bad meal. Da Gigino's (the owner's restaurant) was very good, and we ate there twice. Do mention you are staying at Casa Dominova, and you should get a discount.
