We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon. We drove, and the drive along the winding single road was beautiful and terrifying - motorcycles cutting in from every direction, pedestrians strolling along, locals driving too fast, tourists driving too slow. We arrived in the evening (later than we expected) and the owner was waiting for us, and we found him and his family very kind and friendly.

Our room was clean, had AC (it was crazy hot, so this was a must), and a good size bathroom with delightfully tacky tiles of sunflowers plastering the walls. Nice view of the garden. The owner upgraded our room since he had a bigger one available, which was really sweet.

Breakfast was delicious, as described by the other reviewers, and we really appreciated the complimentary espresso (you can also have other espresso-based drinks) and fresh squeezed orange juice - the oranges here just taste so much more flavourful and you can tell by the colour - such a deep orange. Food was great, we even split a doughnut one morning and I'm drooling just thinking about it.

The only issue we had was the location. It was on a main street, which was not so nice to walk along (no sidewalk for a bit, very noisy - can't hear it from the room though, lots of traffic). It was a bit too far from the centre, which in the heat, made for a very unpleasant walk.

We didn't love Sorrento - found it very touristy, not a lot of great food (compared to rest of the places we stayed...agritourismo in Tuscany near San Gimagnano, Spoleto in Umbria, and Rome), and the beach was dominated by cafes, so you have to pay admission to access the water, except for a tiny plot which was city owned. Did make a trip to Naples and had amazing pizza at Da Michele.

Il Roseto is truly a find. We stayed at Il Roseto for eight days this June and would definitely go back at any time. We had very high expectations based on the Tripadvisor reviews but the place more than fulfilled them. The place is absolutely charming with the lovely lemon orchard where they serve breakfast and the beautiful new pool area. The owner family was also very nice and friendly and made our stay very pleasant.

Our room was very beautiful, spacious and clean (They cleaned the room every day). There was no street noise and the (silent) aircon (with fixed temperature) made sure that it was not too hot or cold during the nights. This is the place for you if you want to charge your batteries and relax. The resort is also very conviniently located for day tripping in the Amalfi coastal area. The breakfast was also excellent. Fresh orange juice, freshly baked rolls and pastries, parma ham, cheese, marmalades, youghurts, tomatoes, fruits, capuccinos, eggs, cereals, something for everyone...

It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the Sorrento Centrum and about five minutes to Sant' Agnello train station. For us this was no problem but if youre not a keen walker it might be. Anyway there are narrow pavements and street lights all the way to Sorrento Centrum.

During our last days which we spent at the resort we found this great lunch place La Terrazza in Sant' Agnello. The place has very nice food and some amazing views over the bay of Naples. It's about 10 min walk from Il Roseto, it's well worth the trip.

Room Tip: The rose room was excellent.

B&B Il Roseto was recommended to us by our daughter and son-in-law. We had two rooms. Our son and daughter-in-law accompanied us on this trip. Our room overlooked the garden and fruit tree area where a great breakfast was served: fresh fruit, pastries, bread, proscuitto, cheese, and more. We were there three nights. The B&B is located off of a busy street, but you wouldn't know it. There was parking for our rental car so that we could leave and either walk for use public transportation. It was only a 15 or 20 minute walk to the town center. As I mentioned, it is a busy street and quite narrow in some spots so you have to pay attention to the traffic. We didn't find it a problem at all. The staff was very helpful with answering our questions about excursions to Capri, Pompeii, and Positano. The rooms were vey comfortable and the new pool was a welcome sight, especially on a hot June day. I highly recommend this charming B&B.

Tucked away off the main drag with private parking and a super Brand New pool Il Rosette B and B is a lttle gem. Lovely aircondtioned room (very quiet and cool) with breakfast in the garden. We loved it and would thoroughly reccomend to anybody looking for a reasonable price B and B in Sorrento.

I stayed at Il Roseto for four days this June and thought it was a delightful place to stay. The staff is very kind and helpful. They were willing to help plan our excursions and had lots of information available about hydrofoil timetables etc. We stayed in two different rooms. One had its own terrace and very sunny spacious bathroom. The other looked out onto the garden and was bright and cheerful. The garden is a great place to relax, with lounge chairs and a hammock. We were served a delicious breakfast in the garden in morning. Offerings included meat, cheese, yogurt, pastries, cereals, eggs and fresh squeezed orange juice. The pool made for an inviting respite after a long day of touring. If you are arriving via Circumvesviana, get off at the first stop before Sorrento. Exit the train station, descend the steps to the main road and make a right. Il Roseto is about a 10-15 minute walk.

Just returned from 5 days at il Roseto. Great location to explore the Amalfi coast. Nice rooms, ours had a balcony, free wifi and lovely leisurely breakfast in garden surrounded by lemon trees. The new pool was great and very welcome after a day out Would recommend taking citi tour of Sorrento to discover places to visit during your stay. Definitely recommend

Room Tip: Only 2 have balcony so if this is important then request when booking.
