Just back from the Marameo Beach which is overlooked by promontory area on which the cloister is situated is this wonderful piece of monastic history offering a tranquil backdrop to innumerable photo opportunities from almost every angle. I would be surprised if anyone could capture a bad side of this combination of medieval church and monastic cloister. Frequently used as a wedding backdrop or for other events. Much of which, thankfully, spill onto the piazza of Sant’Antonino adjoining, so tranquillity is restored quickly. A moment of peace in an area that is a true contrast of bustle and lively entertainment. Well worth the visit. Truly recommended.
