The façade doesn't do the interior justice. Beautiful frescos and the lower level has offerings of silver pieces mounted in cases as well as the tomb of Sant' Antonino. All of the stories "legends" are intriguing as they entertaining-we liked the whale and boy miracle. Amazing place to visit.

While the church is pleasant (not that there is any shortage of attractive churches in Italy) it is worth visiting for the Crypt alone and specifically the offerings - being pieces of silver shaped in the form of human body parts - from people (or their families) cured or seeking a cure, by prayer, for an illness of the 'illustrated' body part. So there are a variety of silver hearts, silver lungs, silver arms, etc., etc.

After reading Honeywife_7's review of June this year I was determined to visit this church. In fact I visited it three times during our week's stay and never tired of it. Apart from the beautiful apse and the lovely nave don't miss the crypt and the scores and scores of votives thanking the saint for his intercessions, some with very touching stories.
