“Enchanting and perfect”

Chalet Annie is an enchanting place to stay - a fantastic location, well equipped and very well maintained. We loved the design of the chalet and spent most time living and eating outside either in the garden or under the large covered patio which has subtle but effective night lighting. Franco cleaned and serviced the pool every day and a broken door handle was made secure and then replaced within 24 hours - excellent service from lovely friendly people. The walk to nearby Sant'Agata takes around 15 mins going (downhill) and 25 minutes back (uphill) - the road is busy and the driving is often 'enthusiastic' but we never felt in any danger. Some reviewers have mentioned the restaurant/venue next door which we didn't find troublesome - there was a wedding one night but the music was fine and it was all finished by 12:30 - no problem. Sant'Agata is an ideal local town with everything from good value supermarkets (Conad), several good fruit/veg/wine stores and a couple of excellent local butchers. Also, you must try Bar Orlando if only to hear about the legendary smoking cat!! One tip - if you drive here avoid large cars as the entrance to Chalet Annie is quite cosy and, in general, whilst the lovely winding roads are great fun they are often quite narrow and can get pretty congested especially when the buses come past! We will deffo return to Chalet Annie and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it especially to family groups.

“Lovely property with amazing views , but disappointed with loud music”

After reading all the positive reviews we were looking forward to an lovely peaceful break. I have to say all the positive reviews on Chalet Annie were accurate apart from the noise. Out of the seven nights we were there we were kept awake by the loud music from Castore next door for three nights. On one occasion we did contact Tiziana in the early hours to complain and the music did stop for a while, unfortunately after a short time ift started again and went on until 4.30 am. The Chalet is a good size and the facilities are also good but before booking I would recommend that you check with Tiziana if she has any bookings at Castore while you are there. We did walk into Sant Agata once but felt it was to dangerous due to the narrow road and no public pathso after that we used the bus or drove in.. Would highly recommend The Blue Moon Cafe and Route 66 Bar in Sant Agata. If going to Pompeii it is easier to go on the train from Sorrento for €2.

“Chalet Annie is a well placed villa for planning sightseeing, walks and restaurants”

We were made very welcome by Tiziana and family. The villa is spacious for inside and outside entertainment and well equipped although we found the TV beyond our combined intelligence to master. My friend and I especially enjoyed the table football! Views from the villa are lovely. Nearby are Sant Agata (nearest and easily walkable, 20 mins), Torca and Massa and all with restaurants. The weather this May was gorgeous - not too hot or cold. Driving locally is OK but would definitely recommend the train service instead from Sorrento for sightseeing in Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Naples. 2.4 euros each way, brilliant and regular. There is a bus service to Sorrento which picks up on the outskirts of Sant Agata 1.2 euros single which never failed us. Local taxis are rather pricey though - 60 euros from Sorrento for 20 min drive so toss to see who drives further afield in the evenings! Altogether a very pleasant villa and location. I would not hesitate to go again.

“Stunning views and fantastic accomodation!”

We had a fantastic stay at Chalet Annie. The accommodation was the best we've ever stayed in, with views over Ischia and Capri. Watching the sun setting in the evening was just idyllic. It was a perfect base for exploring the local area, Pompeii, Vesuvius (the alternative way up in ex army trucks is well worth the experience!), the Amalfi coast , Sorrento and much more! Our two teenagers loved the pool, table tennis and table football, plenty of fun and entertainment. to top it all the friendly cats and kittens were great for us a family of cat lovers, they visited us every day. There was a wedding next door on the day we arrived and one on our last day which added to the atmosphere and the fireworks were great too! We would highly recommend Chalet Annie.

This villa is perfect if you want to combine a holiday with trying to live like the locals, you're a few minutes from the centre of Sant Agata yet in the peace of the countryside. Tiziana and her family are wonderfully accommodating whilst respecting your privacy. The villa itself is clean and has the most wonderful views, it is quite something to sit outside watching the sun set into the sea whilst sipping a Martini, heaven on Earth! It has everything you need and additionally some nights there was a party next door, which really seem to enhance the atmosphere, especially when you had front row seats to some amazing fireworks... we loved it so much we're coming back next year

“As wonderful as ever!"”
Reviewed October 21, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Our second holiday at Chalet Annie was just as wonderful as the first. This time Grandma came too, after being unable to join us last year. She felt equally "at home" even though it was her first visit.
Everything was just as we remembered it from last year. A clean and comfortable home with breathtaking views, Chalet Annie has everything you need for the perfect relaxing holiday. There was also endless entertainment from the resident cats and kittens - they will love your company, especially at meal times!
Our hosts Tiziana and Stephen, together with Franco next door could not be more helpful and hospitable.
Thanks yet again for a truly memorable stay!!
Check out the "Blue Moon" cafe and bar in nearby St. Agata, where you will find Peppe, another perfect host, who makes the best capuccino, espresso, cakes and pastries in the universe!!

“Lovely place with amazing views”
Reviewed October 10, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

When arriving at Chalet Annie, we were greeted by a very friendly Taziana. Who showed us the beautiful chalet, gave us WIFI codes, explained what each of the amazing views we could see from the chalet. Any issues which arose were dealt with quickly by Taziana or her father who attends the vineyard below the property.

Overall a lovely place, was part of a great unforgettable weekend with my family.
