Lovely apartments, very central location and most importantly really friendly reception staff. Raffaella, the Manager, is very helpful and made our holiday a great one.
We have been there several times and we will certainly book it again in the future.
If you want a quiet apartment the ones at the back of the building are the ones for you.
Very close to supermarkets and a few minutes away from the sea front.

We have just returned from our weeks stay at the rota suites in Sorrento having stayed at this apart hotel for the past few years as repeat customers. Out of all the hotels we have stayed we have got to say that the apartments clean and modern facilities and most importantly the staff are just wonderful. The reception staff have the best customer service skills we have encountered in any hotel we have been to in Italy and we will definitely be back.

Rota Suites is an ideal place for business as well as leisure travelers. Décor of the building is very stunning and well-kept. From the moment I reached the place until the moment I left, I was treated as valued guest by all the guys there. The room which I got was very beautiful, large and very comfortable. Washroom was luxurious and clean. Staff was very attentive and always treated us with a sweet smile. I visited this place recently and my stay was very refreshing and relaxing. Highly recommended.

We've just returned from a week's vacation in Italy; with five of our nights being at the Rota Suites in Sorrento. My husband and I were travelling with our two sons (6 and 3) and wanted a self catering location to avoid the hassle and expense of three restaurant meals a day. We stayed in room 4, which was comprised on a living/dining/kitchen room with a fold out sofa and a large double bedroom with shower room. All the facilities were modern, well maintained and clean. And the kitchen area (which is housed within a closet unit in the main room) was well stocked with dishware, cutlery and pots/pans. Sponges, dish towels and a broom and mop are also provided. Each of the rooms contains a TV with both digital and satellite stations but neither seemed to include any English-language channels other than the BBC World News channel but the kids were still happy to watch cartoons dubbed in Italian as they ate their breakfast in the morning. The room has two balconies, one of which looks over an orchard with a view to the Bay of Naples. The downside of room 4, however, is that it is positioned over top of a small cafe, which generated a lot of noise on a couple of the nights we were there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and didn't seem to mind our two sons, who can be a bit rambunctious, running around the lobby in the mornings/evening as we went out/came back. There are laundry facilities available, which you have to pay for but they do provide free laundry detergent. They also have a WI-FI network, which we were originally told cost 3 EUR for 1/2 hour or 5 EUR per hour (which is a bit steep in this day and age) but were actually given free access in the end. It is extremely slow, however. Overall definitely recommend and would look to stay here again if we ever return to Sorrento.

We could not fault these apartments. The location was excellent - close enough to the centre but far enough away that it was peaceful and relaxing. We had the use of the swimming pool across the road in the sister hotel which was also amazing.

The rooms had everything you needed and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We will be back again to visit.

This was our second visit to Sorrento. The first time, we stayed in a very pleasant hotel, but this time we decided that we did not want to be constrained by a mealtimes regimen. It does make a difference to us - pleasing ourselves whether to eat out or stay in of an evening and to lie-in and have a late breakfast if we feel like it. Far more relaxing, but maybe not everyone's choice.
The Rota Suites suited us down to the ground. Actually they are all on the first floor (for our American cousins, this means the floor above the ground floor, which you call level 2). The location is on a fairly busy road, 10 minutes walk from Tasso Square in the centre of town. Noise not a problem, but we are seasoned travellers and always carry earplugs. Actually it can be very entertaining watching from the balcony as the various standards of driving ability are demonstrated along with the almost unbelievable talent for transporting whole families including large dogs and children on motor scooters designed for no more than two people!
The apartment was very modern, very clean and consisted of a kitchen/diner/lounge area with bedroom and bathroom leading off. Our room (4) seemed to be the only one without a bath. The website does not make this clear. It suggests that they all have one. We were not disappointed however. We had asked for a sea view and we had one. Ok you have to look over the road and an orchard, but you can see the bay of Naples and Vesuvius and apart from the very expensive old hotels perched along the cliff top, there are not many rooms in Sorrento that can boast of this.
To be clear, there are only two rooms that face the sea, numbers 3 and 4. Number 2 faces a rear car park and 5 onwards face a side street. 4 is possibly the best, being on the corner with dual aspect and two balconies - one at the front and one facing the side street. But it has no bath.....
We did not take advantage of the sister hotel facilities on this occasion but they are available and undoubtedly a plus. When we return to Sorrento, which we undoubtedly will, it will be to the Rota Suites, number 4, although of course I've now reduced my chances of getting a booking.......Downside? As someone else has mentioned, the mattress is very hard.....

We stayed here in September 2012, 15 minute walk to the main Square,The Sister Hotel is 5 Minutes around the corner if you don't use any other of the amenities you must visit for a drink in the evening, the view is Fantastic and the Sunset is Great.
Very clean set of Apartments, everything is in the Apartment if you want to cook and they are very spacious and modern. Only down point was the view off the Balcony which was on to some waste land
All in all a very good holiday

Room Tip: Try and get a room at the front of the apartments as these have the best views Watch out for Capri...
