My daughter and I stayed at this lovely hotel last week. The hotel was excellent.
All the staff were extremely polite, kind and helpful.Veronika,Teresa and Antonio in particular. The breakfast selection was super and I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sorrento.
We had a garden view room. It was splendid. The air conditioning was brilliant too.
The hotel location is perfect for anyone who wishes to catch the local buses or the train to all the surrounding ares.
It was only a short walk to the town centre each evening.
A perfect hotel!
Thank you and well done to all the staff for making us feel very welcome and for making our holiday very special.
A brilliant place to go for lunch or dinner is the Foreigners Club .
It has the most stunning views over the Bay of Sorrento, the staff are fabulous and the prices are very reasonable.

Room Tip: Garden view room

Just returned from a seven day stay at Hotel Capri booked via Thomson's. 4 star hotel recently beautifully refurbished with a small but adequate swimming pool and a good poolside bar, serving warm snacks and drinks. On arrival warmly welcomed by staff, who were extremely helpful and polite throughout our stay. Nothing was too much for them! Teresa and Veronika were amazing; cheerful and friendly but at the same time very professional. Veronika even helped us load our cases into the taxi on our last day and waved us off, and was wonderful with my eight year old! Breakfast, buffet style, was of five star quality and catered for all tastes (including gluten free) 'watched over' by the ever helpful Antonio, who also runs the bar in the evenings. Rooms were very clean and airy and to a high standard, air conditioned and double glazed to keep out the street noise. Central location, close to shops, railway station and
old town, with lemon and orange groves next door (sampling of local 'limoncello' drink available) and pizzeria's and local eateries just around the corner. Highly recommend this hotel to all, whether travelling alone or with a partner or with a family. We had a wonderful week -thank you Hotel Capri and we will certainly be returning and staying there again!

Room Tip: Rooms looking out over the swimming pool and gardens have a balcony Rooms on first floor have easy access to swimming pool and garden via staircase at end of corridor

Arrived home yesterday after one week stay booked via Thomson Holidays, before we arrived I had read many reviews on the location of the rooms, we had booked a pool side room with a balcony or so we thought, but due to a mix up we had a corner room with a French balcony on the first floor. the view from the window was over looking the lemon grove and a view of the busy activities of the main street. However the room was excellent, we never opened the windows and had the conditioning on the highest setting for the whole week.
The rooms are very comfortable, cleaned every day with a fresh selection of towels daily. Maria the cleaner always cheerful.
The noise is kept to a minimum with double glazing and black out curtains keep the room dark and the heat out.
The reception staff are efficient and professional but most of all cheerful extremely friendly and very helpful, they even helped us with our Italian phrases. Veronica and Teresa always ready with the info.
The food and dining area is perfect, good choice of continental breakfast and plentiful. Antonio is always helpful, he runs a good bar in the evening and you even see him on the reception at night.
The pool area is clean, plenty of chairs and loungers, good bar service with snacks and drinks, Claudia for ever there serving you.
This was an excellent location just a short walk from the busy lively restaurants and shops. Would recommend this Hotel to any visitor going to Sorrento and for those going via Thomson holidays Lara the rep is always available, always friendly.
Well done Hotel Capri we had an excellent holiday, Jeanette & Anne (108),

We were supposed to stay at another, larger hotel in Sorrento but for unknown reasons was moved to the Hotel Capris. Normally, I would have made a fuss about the switch, but the Hotel Capris was a lucky find! It has a great location. The lobby and room decor is fabulous ... all light gray, white and beige. Soothing and immaculate.

Loved the dining room where they served breakfast. And a maitre d straight out of the movies ... In a good way.

Our room and bathroom were on the small side. But it was beautifully decorated and immaculate. We had a balcony facing the pool, which I would strongly recommend. You want to be on the pool facing side also because the other side faces a busy street with a lot of traffic.

The staff was delightful. Very knowledgable, extremely helpful, always saying hi and asking how they could be of assistance. Loved the pool area -- small but charming. Also had a nice snack bar by the pool area.

Free wifi but doesn't work very well. There is a good desktop computer in lobby.

The location was ideal. We could walk everywhere, and many restaurants and shops nearby.

The town itself, while beautiful, seems on the extreme end of touristy. But you can't best the weather, sea views (not from the hotel) and terrific food and gelato!

Room Tip: Ask for room facing the pool with a balcony.

Just returned from 7 days BB at Hotel Capri fabulous location straight into the heart of Sorrento. Hotel reception areas and restaurant where we were served our excellent breakfast were first class although the rooms a little on the small side were in need of some refurbishment.

The reception staff Veronica & Teresa could not have been more helpful and friendly and in 40 years of travelling abroad we have never met 2 more knowledgable and pleasant girls.

We would certainly return to the Hotel Capri.
