We travelled with Riviera and chose this hotel after looking at the reviews. We were certainly well pleased that we did so.
Our room (on the 5th floor) was spacious, spotlessly clean and with plenty of cupboard space. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning efficient and easily adjustable. It was good to have a private balcony, too.
The food we found to be very good: breakfast is buffet style and with a cooked choice. Excellent coffee: however, the fruit juice (from a machine) left a lot to be desired! Dinner was consistently good with a choice of four starters and main courses and a large selection of far too tempting sweets (and plenty of fresh fruit, too). Well served by friendly and courteous waiters. Good choice of wines at very reasonable prices (12 euros for a good Pinot Grigio, for instance). Despite the fact that there were a number of tour parties using the hotel, we never felt rushed or herded in any way.
A bonus is the terrace on the roof, with a swimming pool, plenty of sun loungers and a bar selling food and drink at reasonable prices. Stunning views over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius.
The hotel is very conveniently situated with a five minute walk to the town centre and five minutes the other way to the train station.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly use the hotel again if we return to Sorrento.
