Good views fine food and very good service. suited us but is set up for a relaxing time rather than a full on holiday hotel. not for those people looking for full on entertainment. nothing is to much trouble and your made to feel very welcome.

Room Tip: room overlooking the bay

Beautiful location, beautiful view from the balcony, the only negative was the loud barking of dogs every night, hard to sleep. I would not get those rooms again because of that. We could not leave our doors open because of this and the other two couples we were with felt the same way. Breakfast was great, but could have been open a little longer. Dinner on Easter was superb. Everyone extremely friendly and helpful. The transportation to the center of town was great, the bus driver made it even a better experience, playing music and singing along with us.

Lovely hotel with wonderful views over to Vesuvius. Easily walkable to town, but do get the courtesy bus back - it's steep. The hotel was clean, friendly, good value. The breakfast was good but not spectacular. Bar snacks were limited and expensive - 14€ for a club sandŵich.

We got an absolutely killer deal from hotwire for rooms at this place. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the entire town of sorrento. The view you get from are stunning. It is about 10-15 minute bus ride from the main area of sorrento. You can take the local bus which stops at the hotel or the complimentary hotel shuttle which runs hourly. The lobby, breaksfast area, and the pool are absolutely stunning and have a very "country club style" feel to them. The breakfast was spectacular as was the service from the staff members. Our rooms were clean and very very spacious. Overall, we will definitely be staying here when we return to sorrento.

This is a lovely hotel. The views from the rooms are amazing, the staff are really helpful, and there is a shuttle bus or a 20 minute walk down to the town centre.
The hotel is at the top of one of the big hills just outside town, meaning that if you want to be in the centre of the social scene, just want to pop out for a quick drink or teeter out to dinner in your high heels it is probably not for you. However, if you want to be out of town and a bit quieter then it would be ideal.
The shuttle bus runs once an hour to and from town, and it is great, but you do find yourself planning your day around it. The walk down is pleasant, the walk up is somewhat more taxing - definitely one to be done in trainers.
The only downside to the hotel was the large number of coach parties. While we were there, a couple of coach parties of german tourists passed through - one of which contained some of the rudest people I have ever come across, which was unfortunate (but absolutely not the hotel's fault)
The view from our room was stunning looking out over the town and the hills, but got the sunrise rather than the sunset - worth getting a sunset balcony room if you want to sit out in the evening sun, but I imagine that as the weather heats up this would make less difference.
The food was good, the drinks were a bit pricey (they have a captive audience so a trip to the supermarket for some supplies is definitely a good idea)
It was our wedding anniversary while we were there, and the staff recommended an itinerary for the day, a restaurant for the evening and a car to pick us up and bring us back.
Best view from a bathroom window I've ever had though!

Room Tip: Not near the lift/stairs, so further down the corridors were quieter. Some people had a habit of con...

Stayed here for 2 nights in an attic room. I was originally worried about distance from Sorrento proper, but found that the free hotel shuttle service was awesome. Dinner and breakfast were included, the food was good, not great, but the service was amazing. The house red wine was great for the price. Would stay here again. Views were awesome.

This hotel is way up the hill from Sorrento town centre and sea front. But from the terraces and sea view rooms the views are outstanding! Luckily they have a shuttle service on the hour right up till 11.30pm BUT not including Siesta time 12.00 till 3 ish. Miss the bus and you've got a taxi ride costing about 28 euros....(I've never seen a meter run round so fast)....or a long hard uphill walk!
The service is outstanding and everyone working there friendly and helpful. As it was our anniversary they upgraded us to a balcony with sea view but there was no sign of some bubbly.
We were sent to the annexe - a villa just behind the main building which you access via a walk though a garden and across the swimming pool terrace. If the weather had been bad, that would have been a wet walk to the restaurant and breakfast. The entire floor was covered in small blue and white tiles and the bathroom was very dated. The shower curtain just couldn't stop attaching itself to you. There was hardly anywhere apart from a narrow shelf above the sink to put your toiletries on either! We ate in the restaurant one night but it was very expensive for the small amount of food on the plate. We had more fun tracking down better deals in town. The hotel guide says there's entertainment but the grand piano in the bar was untouched for the whole 5 days we were there! Not even piped background music. Ultimately the bar experience was boring! BEWARE: The restaurant and bar staff seem to pride themselves in remembering your room number when you sign for meals or drinks...usually they get it wrong! So when you get the bill at the end of your stay CHECK THOSE EXTRA COSTS!!! I found three mistakes that would have cost me 15 euros if I hadn't checked....luckily the bloke who ordered drinks on my room number hadn't got the same signature as me! Basically though, and it was basic, it was a nice weekend!

Room Tip: Go for the sea views...the garden views are boring with loads of lemon trees in rows and no afternoo...
