If my husband had his way, he would still be in Sorrento, sipping cappuccino and nibbling the world-class pastries lovingly and beautifully arrayed by the Palazzo Jannuzzi family and staff. I imagine that I would be back home in Malibu, and probably he would send me photos of the tarts and tortes and heart-topped foam on his coffee!!! Who could blame him? The hotel was all we could have asked for as a home-base for our Amalfi adventure. Ideally located on the main piazza in Sorrento's historical district, the hotel was steps away from the best restaurants, entertainment and shopping, as well as a quick walk to the trains, bus and port. Our enormous room featured bright and charming decor (yellow and white, their signature colors), and windows that opened and a bathroom with a wonderful, strong hot shower. The staff was welcoming and all their suggestions for food and transportation were spot on. But, the star of our stay was the breakfast which was obviously laid out with the love and talent of someone with major experience in catering. As a hospitality professional (20 years of producing high-end events) I appreciate the details that set a meal or hotel above the mundane, and this hotel had ample opportunity to wow me and for me to take photos and share the special touches the staff created. The only caveat I have is that the hotel, because of its ideal location, is on a noisy piazza, so there is a little more outside noise than if you were on the outskirts of the fun....but who wants to be far away from the beauty and hospitality of Sorrento?

There just could not be a better location in Sorrento than Palazzo Jannuzzi Relais...it is located in the heart of Sorrento and within walking distance to everything including the docks and train station. This hotel is beautiful with high ceilings, black out shutters, and an amazing breakfast that offers roof top dining in the morning. As previous reviewers have stated, the hotel sits on top of a first class store offering beautifully hand painted items and offers a 20% discount for those staying at the hotel. You just cannot go wrong with this hotel. Enjoy!

We have stayed here before and are never disappointed. The breakfast is homemade, plentiful and many items to choose from. There are two areas to eat - one is outside on the patio (wonderful on a sunny morning) or inside where the breakfast is served. Ariana is the owner and she is there everyday making all the food and making sure all guests are happy. The location of this B&B could not be any better. It is directly in Tasso Square. We sat outside on our balcony and watched the happenings in the street below. The bus stop is right there to take you anywhere in town and all the local shopping and restaurants are within minutes by foot. The rooms are big and bright. The laundromat that we normally use had closed so the hotel did our laundry for us. It was wash, dried, ironed and returned the same day. The front desk is staffed 24/7 so there is always someone to answer your questions. Once the balcony doors are closed you can not hear the street noise and at night the street is quiet. The hotel also owns a very nice store below it that sells many wonderful Italian items. We bought a few things to ship home (shipping was included in price) and because we were staying at the B&B, they gave us a 20% discount! We flew into Rome and they arranged transfers from the airport to the hotel. The driver spoke perfect english and was there waiting as soon as we arrived into the terminal. This hotel is very helpful for all of your needs. If you plan on going to Sorrento, this is the place to stay - it's clean, large rooms, great staff, excellent location and delicious breakfast.

Room Tip: For a view of the square ask for a balcony room. If you want a quiet room ask for a room in back.

I’m writing this from my hotel room, sad to think that tonight will be the last of our 4 nights at the gorgeous Palazzo Jannuzzi. My husband and I are staying in a huge, beautifully decorated room with a terrace. Our room is so large that it includes a small kitchen area and a table with 4 chairs. Our terrace includes another table with 4 chairs and 2 chaise lounges. We have a large walk-in shower with both rainfall and handheld shower heads. The room is brightly decorated in yellow, white and black, using some of the decorative items sold in the Jannuzzi shop downstairs (where guests are entitled to a 20% discount). As if all of this were not enough, the breakfast is perfection in another beautifully decorated room. Breakfast includes a wide array of healthy items, all freshly prepared that morning, as well as homemade sweets that are absolutely beautiful and freshly brewed coffee of all types. Lastly, the staff is excellent, and the location right in the middle of town. If you’re visiting Sorrento, this is the place to stay!!

The hotel is well located in a main square with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The room was spacious and comfortable with a patio. The breakfast was fabulous with many homemade items and outdoor seating.
