Imagine staying with friends in Italy, in your own space, with your own concierge... someone who knew the area, knew the people and could advise you. That's Villa Concetta! We rented the two BR apartment and had a great stay. Plenty of room - even by American standards! The rates were good and the hosts - perfecto! Rafaele was a dream come true - really helpful, bilingual and so friendly! We felt like he sort of adopted us for the week. He pointed us towards a very local restaurant... Ristorante Da Filipo. It's a 15 minute walk uphill from the Villa but worth every step (we ate there 3 times!) Be aware that the Villa is slightly out of the center of town and a bit of an uphill walk... but don't let that put you off. The hosts and accomodation will make you feel like part of an Italian family, if only for a few days. If you can make do with a B&B, choose the 3rd floor room - what a view! Enjoy your trip and say hello to Raffaele for us!

We have been there for Christmas. The Villa is wonderful, the rooms have got all comforts and are huge, the breakfast was good and the ospitality of Ferdinando and Natali was great! Good location, quiet but very closed to the center of Sorrento.
I would suggest!

Villa Concetta was a great place for us to stay. The family was lovely, giving us milk for our baby and providing medicine when my husband wasn't feeling well. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a bit chilly when we there so we were not able to eat outside. We ate in their kitchen and they were very welcoming.

It is an uphill walk back from town and to the villa. We arrived at night and found the right driveway but couldn't find the villa. It is behind a gate with no sign. We called and Raffaele had someone aid us.

We were in the second room - there is not a lot of outlets so bring a charger which can do multiple items. Our friend's room, the first floor, had plenty of outlets and a great terrace.

We ate downtown by their recommendation at Aurora and it was good. My husband's favorite Pizza of the trip. We ate at the two other Aurora restaurants which were equally as good.

We stayed here for 9 days in September, and I chose this B and B after much research. I wanted somewhere close to Sorrento centre but at a reasonable cost, and Villa Concetta fitted the bill admirably. We had a very spacious and comfortable room with king size bed, sofa, loads of storage space, air con, T.V and balcony with fantastic views. It took about 10 minutes to walk to Tasso Square and the station, so was very well placed for everything, yet out of the hustle and bustle of Sorrento centre.

Breakfast was taken on the sheltered patio and was very good; plenty to eat - yogurts, fresh fruit, bread rolls, delicious pastries, juice, tea/coffee and much more. There's also a communal fridge where you can keep drinks etc.

The family who owns the villa are very hospitable, nothing is too much trouble. Natalie is so kind and helpful, and Raffaele, who speaks excellent English, gave us lots of good tips re where to go, what to see, where to eat etc. One of his recommended restaurants was Restorante da Filippo, which was just a few minutes walk up the hill. We enjoyed this so much we ate there 4 times. Very good food, reasonably priced, very friendly waiters, and always busy with local families, so it had a good 'buzz' - and a downhill walk back afterwards.

Two good places to swim which Raffaele told us about were Capo de Sorrento and Nerano, and we went to both. Nerano can be reached by bus and is a very pleasant small seaside village. From there you can walk for 15 mins round the headland to a beautiful small bay, called Recommone - well worth it, a gorgeous place to swim. Punto Capo is a great spot for snorkelling - loads of fishes - but a bit harder to get to - you can catch a bus part of the way, though you need to know where to get off! You have to swim from the rocks; the easiest place to get in the water is about 5 minutes beyond the cafe.

We managed to do everything we wanted and more on this holiday, and it was so good at the end of the day to come back to such a comfortable and pleasant base. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking, as we were, for a very comfortable base which won't break the bank.

stayed there with another couple. a bit difficult to find. a very lovely villa, within walking distance of the town centre. a very nice family own this place and made us feel very welcome. breakfast was served in the lovely coutyard set in a beautiful garden full of llemon trees. cannot comment on the room service or the food, as none provided, but the breakfast was ample, with italian pastries, fresh bread and lots of fresh fruits. very secure parking within the property with locked gates. only 3 rooms, all very nice and with outside terraces, but our room on the 3rd floor had a very small shower cubicle and the climb via the spiral staircase can be a bit tiring, especillay with the suitcases. there is also self catering accommodation at this place. would give 9 marks out of 10.

We were a family of 10, with my 88 year old dad and 84 year old mom, three couples, and two singles. The place offered by Natalie and Ferdinando was excellent for our needs -- handicap-friendly, with a kitchen to cook some of our meals, functional air-conditioning, beautiful gardens, free lemons for the picking from their own trees. We were like house guests; both were very very helpful, and solicitous, asking us regularly if everything was alright and if there was anything else we needed. Natalie even offered to bring my dad (he's in a wheelchair every now and then) to and from town if necessary. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
