This family owner bed and breakfast is one of the best we have stayed at anywhere! Fabelous family cooking great food and always friendly. Large clean rooms and we always felt at home. The location is also superb if you like to stay in the narrow steets of the town and get the original atmosphere of Sorrento life.

We stayed for 15 nights, B&B. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable.
The food was freshly sourced and imaginatively cooked by chef/patron William in the authentic local style. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful with advice on interestng places to visit and how to get there. Front of house man was Antonio, who had a sharp but witty sense of humour combined with true Sorrentino charm.
All in all, a place with character and individuality - not to be missed

Stayed here for 5 nights as a base to explore. The rooms were large, comfortable and spotless, great shower in my room, a little balcony and also had a/c which is a plus. Maria our hostess was so welcoming and helpful and it seems like a really traditional family run place. The breakfast was nice - fresh coffee and croissants, and the location is great, right in the heart of the old town so easy to walk everywhere. There is also a rooftop terrace for when you want to chill out. Duke the dog amused us by riding up and down in the lift with us several times! I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Location and the beautiful staff are what makes this place so memorable! Maria, William, Tony, Mariella, William and Anna are just so welcoming and lovely - you feel like your part of their family. Right in the middle of old Sorrento, it is easy to feel like a local (the only downside, if you could call it that - it is probably more of a taste of the reality of Sorrento - was that we were so close to neighbouring properties that sometimes noise could be an issue. But hey, when in Sorrento.....).

The rooms are impeccably clean and well appointed, the food a delight. They will make your stay in Sorrento an absolute joy!!

PS. My husband also claims that they really do have the best gelato he sampled in Italy

We stayed at this B&B for 4 days during our 12 day trip to Italy and loved every minute of it.

LOCATION: After doing tons of research on different hotels in the area, we are so glad we chose this B&B because of the location. Many of the larger hotels are located farther away from the historic area, and this was extremely convenient and offerred an authentic Sorrento experience. The B&B is located in the heart of the historic center of Old Town Sorrento and was easily walkable to everything - about 10 to 15 mins down to the port/marina, and the same to the train station. We walked from the train station on arrival with our bags and it was definitely doable - however if you have a lot of luggage I would suggest taking a taxi that would only be 10 Euros or so. There are several choices of restaurants, cafes, shopping and attractions all within walking distance. The B&B is located above the Old Taverna Sorrentina, and there is tons of activity on this main street during the day and at night. Our room was in the front, and could be a bit noisy at times, but most everything shuts down between 11 and 11:30pm so the noise was never a problem for us, as we didn't turn in until then anyway. You could easily shut the doors/windows and they blocked out the noise. If you prefer a quieter room, request one toward the back of the building. I want to stress that our room was not that noisy, but thought I would include this suggestion for light sleepers, or those prefering absolutely no noise.

STAFF: The B&B and taverna are both family owned and run. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful from the beginning. Maria was especially helpful while planning our trip as I contacted her several times for directions, and suggestions for travel and she was always extremely responsive. We even decided we wanted to stay longer in Sorrento and Maria was able to accomodate us, and arranged for us to be able to keep the same room for the full 4 days instead of moving rooms as the room we booked for 2 days was booked by other travelers for the 2 additional days we wanted to stay. Each day we talked with Maria over breakfast and she was able to provide recommendations, information and suggestions for what we had on schedule for that day.

ACCOMODATIONS: Our room was fantastic! Authentic Sorrento funishings and hand painted fresco tile work throughout. Two large doors/windows which let in a beatiful breeze and sunlight, and the wonderful sounds of old town. A safe was provided free of charge for all valuables, along with a mini fridge for storing leftovers or snacks/drinks during our stay.

Breakfast provided daily at the taverna from 9:30am to 11am with choice of cafe, coffee etc and sweet pastry. The taverna also offers hot breakfast for an additional charge that we did most days, including omlettes breakfast sandwiches etc. at very reasonable prices. On days we got an earlier start, Maria arranged for our breakfast to be put in our fridge the night before so we had it for the morning.

The room was made up and cleaned every day, and fresh linens/towels provided every other day which was perfect for us.

Overall we were extremely happy with this B&B as it provided all that we were looking for at a great price. The family made our stay comfortable and special and we will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Sorrento. We would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Sorrento who would like to be in an excellent location, which great service at a great price!

This newly refurbished B&B is a 3 story building with the bar on the ground floor and the 5 B&B rooms on the 3rd Floor, they are currently refurbishing the 2nd floor making 3 self contained apartments. This is a family run business and they are all lovely and very friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately because we visited out of season the bar wasn't open, but we were still well looked after.
The rooms are value for money, they are stylishly decorated with old traditional Italian furniture, the rooms are en-suite with either a bath/Shower or walk in shower. We stayed in Granny's Room and it was lovely and spacious, with a balcony over looking the street below. We had a fridge to put our own water/drinks etc in and plenty of wardrobe space with hangers and lots of drawers.
The views of Mt Vesuvius from the roof top terrace are stunning. My husband and I stood out there with a bottle of spumante getting soaking wet watching the fire works at 1am on New Years day.
We have eaten in the bar on a previous stay and they deserve their reputation for good food. I look forward to trying their ice-cream next time we go there.
I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to visit Sorrento the rooms are comfortable, clean there is a continental breakfast included which is coffee/tea with plain cakes, which is bizarre to us, but common in Europe in places like Italy & Spain, you can upgrade for a little extra and have a cooked breakfast.
Its in a central location and only minutes walk to Piazza Tasso and also Piazza S'Antonino.
