“What a great lunch spot to while away the hours”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

Down in the marina grande away from the hustle of central Sorrento is this wonderful fish and pasta restaurant out on a small pier. Ate lunch here a couple of times while in Sorrento and found the staff and owner very friendly and very understanding when I discovered I was short of cash to pay the bill (no card payments here). My wife had a deliciously light lasagna, not at all like the pudding-like heavy versions that get served in UK Italian restaurants. I treated my self to the grilled fish, whatever they had was put on the plate included sardines, sea bass, prawns, squid, and other varieties of fish I was not sure I could identify, but it all tasted fantastic washed down with a carafe of house white. All this including desert and coffee for around 35 Euro

“What a find!”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

We stumbled here on out first afternoon in Sorrento and couldn't have been happier.

Sensibly priced, well cooked, perfectly seasoned food, mainly grilled fish, pasta and vegetables. The owner chatted away to us in perfect English and couldn't of made us feel more at home.

Bonus marks for being open and serving at 4pm too. Highly recommended.

“About as Italian as you can get”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Imagine, Italian beach, changing cabins, great food and here it is. Wholly recommended for an atmospheric lunch in the prettiest and most Italian part of Sorrento. The Italians love it so will you.

“Terrific place to eat, with wonder ful music.”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

We first discovered this place in 2009 when we first came to stay at the Admiral Hotel in Sorrento. We have been coming back here every year since then. The owner is very charming and he's very good company. His staff are excellent, and the music is excellent as well. It's not too loud and is very good easy listening music. He must see loads of people every year, but he always trates us like old friends. Would certainly give this place 10 out of 10.
Look forward to next year and old friends.

One of the most picturesque places to eat in Sorrento. Limited menu but the food served is excellent sea food and pasta dishes. Clams, mussels, and squid all served with spaghetti and excellent antipasto. Excellent place for Lunch.
