Our driver suggested this place and we are so glad he did. Having a car service to and from the hotel was an added bonus. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was wonderful. Our waiter suggested a few appetizers and they were great. The best marinara I've ever tasted! Our meals were outstanding - the only complaint I have is that they didn't time the serving of our entrees. Two of us got our entrees and finished them before the other two even received theirs. The two early entrees were pasta and they could have waited to serve us all together. The bottle of lemoncello was fabulous as was the wine. Would definitely return.

Had dinner here during our 7 night stay in Sorrento.
First the good points. Free transport to and from our hotel is a real plus. Great location and wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic choice on the menu. A unique place.
The not so good points. Food good but pricing would suggest that it should really have been a bit better and a bit more "special". The Dover sole for example was very small and below the weight we would allow to be caught in this country. Pasta dish was a bit bland and not any better than some mid priced Ristorante in the area.
Our bill of 136 Euro for three courses and wine was a bit steep given the quality of the food. That said transport from the centre of town would be in the order of 25 Euro each way.

In our view there are better value Ristorante in the area with as good an atmosphere and sense of occasion.
Close call, but cannot rate it any higher than average overall given the pricing and positioning of this establishment. It just didn't deliver to expectations.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. The restaurant provides free shuttle to/from there and it's an experince just driving there....lol! The street Is very narrow.
The restaurant is decorated with photos of Sofia Loren all over. They seated us in the courtyard, which was nice.
We had the proscutto, melon and mozzarella and calamari frtti as a started and it was great. I ordered the homemade ravioli truffled with porcini mushrooms and it excellent. My husband had the homemade pasta bolognese and said it ws the best he ever had. We shared the tirimusu and it was good. We didn't think the price was too bad either. It was under 90 euro's, plus we had drinks too.
We still have one more night in sorrento and thinking we may come back here. It was that good!

Really cool location... Off the beaten path on a lovely estate... Garden patio and inside a great shrine to Ms Loren... Varied and creative menu with fresh ingredients... I wish we tried more items but we were all drinking and talking too much... Truffle ravioli was amazing... Free bottle of homemade lemoncello was great - the best we had there... Amazing dessert - white choco, flan piece... Great spot - good, warm, service... Thumbs up!

This restaurant was recommended by our concierge. We asked for a good seafood place, and he asked whether we were interested in "sophisticated seafood". We said sure, and off we went in the restaurant's free shuttle service. The location is away from the main piazza/old Sorrento which was a nice change of pace. I had the scampi special, and my wife had the fish special. Both were excellent and both the pasta and the fish were obviously very fresh. The antipasto was excellent (if anything, too much food!), as was the dessert. With a 1/2 liter of wine and coffee, it came to 97 euro. We felt it was certainly worth the money, and left quite stuffed!
