We stayed in the upper apartment, that looks out onto the piazza, while our friends had a room off the terrace. The lower room had only one window in the kitchen, which was large. It also had two bathrooms, while ours had one. Upstairs, we had a bit more noise but we loved looking out onto the street activity from the balcony. This place is unique and charming, superbly located and the apartments are well supplied. We booked directly with Antonio with no problems. Nonna Josipina is lovely and we managed to communicate even through the language barrier. That's how we found out they had moved our drying underwear to the rack along the balcony away from our room!

Room Tip: The upper apartment is a bit noisy, but a great view of the piazza.

We stayed at the end of October and the location was perfect and the owners went out of their way to make the stay perfect for us. The apartment was clean and kept well and the rooftop and patio were quaint and beautiful. A great stay.

Room Tip: The upstairs apartment is roomy and perfect.

We stayed for four nights here at towards the end of the season in October. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and overall is good value for money. The road is quite close, but the noise is not noticeable. Rooms have air conditioning and tv. The courtyard is a lovely place to sit and eat and/or drink. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Sorrento.

We spent 2 weeks at Villa Elisa and really enjoyed our stay there. You couldn't find a better location in Sorrento, as the apartments are right in the centre within easy reach of shops, restaurants, public transport and all attractions the town has to offer. As you enter the courtyard, you immediately feel enchanted by the plants and trees surrounding the patio, where we would have our meals. We experienced a warm welcome by the owner Antonio and Elisa who was in charge of housekeeping. The apartment was well equipped with a spacious bathroom and kept spotless by the daily cleaning service provided. If there is any negative aspect to be mentioned, it would be the fact that the downstairs apartments are windowless (as they are on the location of an ancient monastery), which means that there is very little daylight reaching the interior. As we tended to be out and about for most of the day and usually took our meals outside, this was only a minor inconvenience and I would thoroughly recommend Villa Elisa for a very enjoyable stay in Sorrento.

We spend a wonderful six days in Sorrento and the location and atmosphere of the Villa Elisa was perfect for our family's needs. Everything was clean and well kept. The large kitchen was perfect for us as we cooked most of our meals and ate them on the lovely terrace. Grocery, gelato and shopping was all very close. Very little noise from the square entered the lovely plant filled courtyard. Book your tours with Antonio! He is knowledgable and very friendly.

Room Tip: Book with Antonio directly. He is the best!

No need for a car as you are so close to everything including public transportation (bus, train and boat), shopping, grocery, restaurants, and gelato! Book directly with the owner Antonio. We unfortunately didn't but we will next time. Avoiding a booking agency will save you money. Antonio will answer any questions and help you plan your days if you want. His parents live upstairs if needed. We found this place to be comfortable and all who worked here were very friendly though only Antonio has a good grasp of English. Keep in mind that you are located very close to the city center and also on a fairly busy Piazza San Antonino so street noise is there. It didn't bother us as things really calmed down after 10. The Bar Vittorria is next door where we got our morning coffee and roll. Very convenient but if you want to make your own your apartment is equipped with a small espresso pot and you can make your own if you know how. These apartments are small but really give you a real feel for living in the Italian way. There is a very nice courtyard shared with the other three ground floor apartments and that is where we spent our time when not touring, shopping, dining or sleeping. There is a free beach near by that is really just a swim platform but if you wanted a pool this is not a bad alternative.

All the other guests had stayed here before. We will stay here again if we get the chance to return to Sorrento.

Room Tip: If you want to cook ask for the one with the more complete kitchen. Otherwise just dine out and enjo...

What a find! This is a really nice villa apartment in the middle of Sorrento. It is on Piazza San Antonio which is busy during the day but very quiet at night time. We loved people watching (and bat watching during the evening!).

This apartment is on the first floor of the villa and has its own terrace as well as a further sun terrace on top which has a dining area and sun beds as well as lots of plants - the smell of basil up there was heavenly.

There is one bedroom with a double bed, hanging space, drawers and a safe. The living room is spacious and the window overlooks the piazza. The kitchen is on the small side but was great for us as we only made sandwiches and cooked breakfast– it has a good size fridge.

The apartment is very clean and serviced every day. The towels do not match but that adds to the cuteness of the place.

Antonio and his family are very friendly and were always helpful. I was really impressed when he managed to get immediate information from the water company when the pressure went low – it certainly couldn’t have been done so quickly in the UK (and the water pressure was restored within ½ hour).

Thank you Antonio - I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Sorrento.

Room Tip: Definitely go for the Bougainvillea apartment if you can.
