We had a really lovely stay at Ulisse. Rooms were simple, yet clean and comfortable. Good location to the beach and to the town for meals. Breakfast was simple, but nice to be able to eat at the hotel. A bit of a walk from the train station but convenience during the stay makes up for it. The lady who works behind the desk is lovely and is willing to help out with any concerns.

Errrr......Hostel....I don't think so. Stunning hotel YES!! Clean and spacious, with friendly helpful staff. Great location for shops resturants and the beach. Though the train station is a good 20 min walk away, but with nice sights and beautiful weather it is no problem. A gorgeous relaxing spa is part of this "hostel" with a range of facilities including indoor swimming pool, ice room, steam room and two sauna. As well as beauty treatments being available. Lovely continental breakfast served each morning, good variety and selection.

I stayed at Ulisse for 11 days in July with my family in a quadruple room. The rooms were more like a small apartment with a connecting door, and were very clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was OK, but lacked variety. The location at the end of the main strip was ideal and perfect for the short walk to Marina Grande, where we spent many afternoons and evenings. The only minor gripes are the lack of any external areas to relax in and the speed/reliability of Internet access. There is a pool, but it's within a spa area inside and you need to pay for access. It's reasonably priced compared to hotels in Sorrento. The term 'hostel' doesn't do it justice, as the Ulisse is very well appointed and comfortable. An outside pool or garden would make it perfect, but even without these, I'd definitely stay there again

We stayed in this so called hostel for 4 nights in July. It has to be one of the best kept secrets in Sorrento. It is much more than a hostel - a great hotel would describe it better, with breakfast and bar facilities, excellent location and very helpful staff. The main walking street into the old town is about 50m away and there are a couple of local shops next door where you can get fruit, bread and deli goods at local prices. Rooms are great and for Sorrento prices are great to.

Great location, very clean. Nice staff and overall pleasant stay. I think that summarises our stay. If you are like us and Spain most of your holiday on the go sitting by beach or strolling streets then why pay crazy prices? This is by no means a hostel. I actually thought it was a typo on the name when we arrived.. It is a perfect location and def a place I would recommend again.

Room Tip: Make sure they get your bed type right.. We got 2single beds instead of a double...
