Superb! We chose this place as we don't really like staying in Hotels, ....they are far too impersonal, and after you've unloaded your luggage, there really isn't any room to swing a cat! Not here though...We like to taste the real places we stay in, to be among the owners and enjoy the atmosphere. The first thing that greeted us was the smell of the lemon grove up the path to the building. A lovely, rustic place, with lemons, oranges, flowers and prettiness. We where greeted by Max, who shown us the apartment. Lovely big rooms and very clean and airy. Its a very big place, and well enough room for two adults and 2 full sized kids! (18 and a nearly 6ft 15 year old) Great facilities, a huge double bed, and a huge sofa bed... Max also made up another bed in the spare room, and there was enough space to hold a party for 50 in there! The kitchen was fully functual, Oven, grill, hob, fridge freezer and washing machine. The bathroom was big enough too, with a fabulous shower... easily get 2 in there! ( why not...we're an holibobs!) ! perfecto!! The icing on the cake though, was the bottle of home made Limoncello that Carolina had made! gorgeous!! ..Emma drank the lot and left nowt for me.... Jackie was so accommodating, and couldn't do enough for us...she even gave us a lift to the Grande Port so we could catch the boat to Amalfi! Now, that's service for you! We also had gifts of Amalfi lemons from Jackies and Max's lemon grove, which we made some lemonade with. They also gave us some home made passata that Max makes on site! Unfortunately we couldn't take it home as there wasn't enough room in the case (the daughter and son went mad on shopping in Amalfi so took all the room up! ...sorry Jackie!!!) We also had some fresh tomatoes that we had for breakfast that where a gift from Carolina, Max and Jackie ...with toast! Lovely. Although no air conditioning, don't be put off! The place is very cool at night, and due to the breeze throughout the building, its lovely and fresh.
