This was certainly not a bad restaurant - I doubt to call it good either...
The plusses: An unusual and creative menu, very different from the usual Campania kitchen. Great choice of bread. An enthusiastic owner. And foodwise: original dishes prepared with local ingredients.
Unfortunatelly there were also some serious minusses of which the most important one regards the relationship between the quality and the price of food, drinks and service offered. € 20 For an average size and quality steak is out of line in this region of Italy. € 3 for a very, very small glass of housewine is too much. € 3 for a bottle of mineral water is high compared to all restaurants we ate in two weeks time. We also found many dishes from the menu not to be available. In addition the waiter -with only 3 tables to serve that evening, was slow and far from friendly. All in all a so, so experience. The current top rating for this restaurant in the Salerno region is based on our experience overrated.
Minus: meat + price, wine, waiting, main dish, missimg dishes
