Great Hotel on Lungomare. Room is very clean, plenty products provided. Very large balcony. Mini fridge fully stocked. Porter to help with your bags and park your car in the private garage. Breakfast filling, and wonderful coffee from bar. Reception has much information about buses, trains, ferries, Salerno, surrounding areas, ect. Very happy with our stay here.

The hotel was very nice, no complaints, and the staff were truly lovely and really helpful. In fact I'd say they were nicest hotel staff I've experienced in Italy. The hotel is really far from the center of town and the train station, however--you must either walk for about 50 minutes or take a bus, and at times you must wait for a very long time for a bus.

Regarding Salerno, I have to say that I would never, ever recommend staying there. It's a big, polluted, industrial city. I stayed there as I wanted to visit both Pompeii and Paestum and it seemed about halfway, but because of the distance from the hotel to the train station, and the very slow regional train, it took a very long time to get to Pompeii. Paestum was a bit better as it is closer, It was also really difficult to find a good place to eat near the hotel--it's in a commercial area but oddly lacking in restaurants. There is a bar down the street that is noisy and smoky, and two rather expensive places on the street by the sea.

Staying with family this hotel is really well priced and well located. Free parking and a good breakfast with great service. The hotel is one road back from the sea front and now sadly overlooks a McDonalds drive thru (although I suppose this is handy if your hungry!). The room, whilst clean was very dated (70's). For price/ location etc it's well worth it.

Reception and unbelievable availability from the whole personnel. When I have phoned to book I have asked if they accepted dogs. The holder of the hotel has textually answered me: "Here the dogs enter before and then their masters." Unbelievable! I have a dog of average ransom and the Direction of the hotel Fiorenza you/he/she has allowed me to leave him/it in room while me assentavo to do my job. Reentering the evening having left my personal computer in the room press you/they have made of it one of theirs allowing to bring me an urgent change to the text sent in precedence in editing available. During to leave the room you/they have voluntarily omitted to debit me 2 bottles of mineral water taken from the refrigerator-cafe. Kind. I am not able whether to thank for the received treatment.
