Whilst staying in Amalfi we wanted to see many local sights and wanted to book some trips. We tried the official tourist info office but found them unhelpful & pretty rude, we then went in here (basically because of the dog in the doorway!) the staff were amazing & so knowledgable. They did not sell us the most expensive trips but listened to our requirements and offered solutions. As a result we had a fabulous day in Pompeii & Herculaneum with the best guide in the world (Lello) he was so funny, enthusiastic and obviously loved his job and history! After such a great experience we then booked Capri tour - 8 people on a private boat, expertly navigated by Salvatore. Admittedly it was a little more expensive than catching the ferry (€80 as opposed to €55) but well worth it. You get chance to travel comfortably, see stunning coastline, swim in the coves, sunbathe on deck with a beer before spending 4 hours in Capri. No queuing in Capri & fighting for a place on the ferry home, walk past the crowds and onto your private boat - simply fab!!
