“Gerry's Pub, Pogerola, Italy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

My wife and I decided to explore a walking trail heading up out of Amalfi, Italy. After a 2 kilometer, largely vertical trail experience, we arrived at about 1 PM in the small town of Pogerola which has breath-taking views across to Ravello, and surrounding Amalfi villages, as well as out to the sea. As it was early April and a weekday, we did not have high expectations of finding a ristorante, but happened upon the somewhat unlikely-named Gerry's Pub. It is Italian-family owned, and what a grand meal we enjoyed on the outdoor balcony surrounded by 360 degree views of the Amalfi coast villages. We received great attention from Gerry, whose wife was chef and who prepared delicious home-made pasta dishes which both we and Gerry were moved to photograph before partaking and thoroughly enjoying. Great food and hospitality, we will return when our travels again find us in this area.

“Great food, view, and staff”

Gerry's is actually in a small village above Amalfi. Very good food (we had a bruschetta), and an outstanding view up the mountain!

“The Fusilli Pogerola was Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013 via mobile

It was raining, Gerry invited me in, offered me a seat by the fire and got me a cappuccino. It was like a scene from a movie. He's very nice and speaks great English. He recommended the Fusilli Pogerola which has vegetables he grows in his garden. Are you kidding me? 5 stars. Nuff said.

Gerardo and his sister Sylvana at Gerry's Pub in Pogerola on the Amalfi coast are a must visit! The food is fantastic. Gerardo is a great host behind the bar or the piano.

“Great Food and Welcoming Host”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

Caught the Sita bus from our hotel to the top the hill, the last stop for that route. We arrived early for lunch and were welcomed with a smile by Gerry, our host and owner of this gem high in the mountains overlooking the Amalfi Coast. We enjoyed an antipasti of bresaola (dried beef with rocket and Parmesan) and fresh grilled local vegetables. For our main we had the fresh mushroom ravioli. The food was only surpassed by the magnificent view.
