We stayed at the Marina Riviera for 3 nights... the hotel is at a great location at the start of the Amalfi Coast and well within easy reach of the port to get to other coastal areas

There were some pretty great things about the hotel as well as the location

1. Amazing Views
That view is pretty outstanding whether first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Some rooms had windows whilst others had a balcony

2. The decor
The hotel and the room had lovely decor. We had one of the event decorated rooms which were bright and super clean... good sized and well thought out rooms

3. Lovely Bar and Breakfast area
The Bar and Restaurant area both of which we used were overlooking the coast and that was lovely weather first thing in the morning or last thing at night

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned to a great standard

I couldn't ask for more from a hotel on such a beautiful location

We then went onto Sorrento and the hotel was not a nice patch on the hotel Marina Riviera

We stayed at Hotel Marina Riviera in late July early August.
Our room was a junior suite, with private balcony and jacuzzi overlooking the Amalfi bay and harbour. A beautiful view.
The room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Two televisions- one facing the lounge and the other at the foot of the bed were not used- there are far better things to do.
Bathroom had everything but a bath- see jacuzzi overlooking the bay. Also spotless.
Hotel staff are friendly and efficient. They helped us several times with bookings and advice.
Pool deck atop the hotel is lovely. Attendants will provide umbrellas (if winds allow), pool towels and - importantly - drinks and food.
Breakfast is served on level 1, past reception. This can be either inside or outside on the terrace. Selection is comprehensive and delicious. This area is also the bar and lounge for the rest of the day.
A really nice hotel. Highly recommended.

We stayed here while travelling to several countries in Europe, and we absolutely loved it!

The breakfast was delicious - they cooked eggs to your requirements, plus a continental buffet.

The rooftop pool is perfect for cooling down after a long day. Beach towels are provided, and many comfy sun beds. The bar staff are friendly and attentive.

Our room was amazing. A good size, and very clean. The balcony overlooking Amalfi was perfect, and the turn down service was a nice touch- a biscuit and water along with the next days weather forecast.

We parked our car park at the LunaRossa car park just up the road from the hotel - it cost €25 per day (with letter from hotel) but only the driver can go in, so other passengers have to wait at the entrance. Walk through tunnel to the hotel - it's safer than waking on the road as there's no path.

There are lots of steps up to reception, or a lift if you don't fancy the climb.

All staff were friendly, and we would definitely go back to this hotel if we visit Amalfi again.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days whilst on a trip around Italy for our honeymoon. We arrived early hours of the morning to the hotel and was greeted by very friendly staff despite the late/early hour and was taken to our gorgeous room with balcony and the best view of the town and coast. We even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the room. The room was a good size and finished to a very high standard. The bathroom was a great size too and very clean. Breakfast at the hotel was the best we have had in hotels in Italy, and it was excellent to have eggs cooked to your liking every morning. The views from the terrace are stunning and a great start to your day. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and polite. The rooftop pool was excellent with a lovely sized pool and plenty of beds and space. The staff who manned the pool area were very friendly and helpful too. We really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay here again when we come back to Amalfi. Thank you for making our honeymoon even more special!

We spent about a week in Amalfi, and loved this hotel! The location was amazing - just outside (maybe a 5 minute walk, tops) along the coast of the main town, with views of the beach and the sea. The staff were incredible - everyone we spoke with was very helpful from booking dinner or excursion reservations to helping us locate the ferry stop. There are brochures at the front desk that have different activities - we were able to take a boat to see fireworks over Positano just because we saw it advertised at the front desk! We booked the deluxe room with balcony, and were very happy we did so. We spent a lot of time at the beginning and ending of the day just watching Amalfi and life from the balcony - so we would recommending upgrading to a room with a view. We thought the room was a great size compared to other Italian hotels we have stayed in, and the patio was able to fit two chairs and a small table. Although all the rooms are decorated differently, ours was a sea theme with blues and greens and beautiful sea floor tiles. Breakfast was included, and had a good variety (eggs made to order to your particular preference). Every evening during turn down service the staff left bottled water and a note about the weather the next day. The pool was lovely with a spectacular view of Amalfi and the sea. Towels are available and there are plenty of umbrellas if you need to be in the shade on the deck. It's a very short walk into town. We would highly recommend this hotel to others!

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view!
