“Great location, enjoyable”

Great location with views from our balcony. Room and bathroom a good size. Pool was welcome in the hot weather.
Had stayed here on a previous occasion and once again found it to be friendly and in a prime location. Only a short walk into town, buses and ferries, just take care walking on the side of the road for a short while. Rather expensive though, but worth a special treat.

Just spent 7 days in and around Amalfi. Wonderful holiday made perfect by this hotel. Very friendly staff while making you feel relaxed from day 1, Breakfasts were excellent and even provided options very early on our last day to catch an early flight. Use of the roof top pool is a must. Didn't want to leave. Short walk from centre of Amalfi and beach. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with sea view. Stunning

For reference, I traveled around Italy for two weeks and stayed in four different hotels in four cities. All of the hotels were in comparable price ranges and were comparable quality.

I stayed in this hotel for four days for my wedding anniversary. I loved Amalfi and I loved this hotel. It was very spacious and had an open-air lobby with bar and snacks. The room and bathroom were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had a separate tub and a stall shower with a contemporary shower head. I had a view of the city, beach, mountains, and sea (though the beach is a bit loud). They let you order breakfast to your room for no additional charge.

The location is great too--just a few minute walk down to the beach and town. The road is a bit narrow and there is a big curve, but there are a lot of people walking and I never had a problem. I even wheeled my luggage down the road to get to the bus out of Amalfi after I checked out.

We spent a couple days lounging by the pool. The pool is small by U.S. standards but seems typical of the area. The pool area was clean and nice, there were always enough chairs for the people there, and the employees were very helpful. They provide drinks, food, and set up umbrellas and chairs for you. There were a couple times where I had to wait about 5 minutes because nobody was at the desk.

My only real complaint was that the wifi didn't really work in my room (which was pretty far from the lobby). It seemed to usually work in the lobby area. It would be nice if that were fixed, but otherwise I had a great stay and definitely recommend this hotel!!

We discovered the marina riviera hotel through TripAdvisor and could not have been more thrilled with our find. We arrived by ferry to amalfi from Capri and made the short walk up the road to the hotel. Although the entrance was a little hard to find, it's right past the blue awning marking the entrance to the Eola Restaurant. Everything about the hotel was terrific. The room was very nice and the balcony was a terrific plus -- overlooking the bay and the center of amalfi. The complimentary breakfast every morning was great, and the setting on the terrace was beautiful. The staff of the hotel could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They even arranged an early breakfast for us on the morning we planned to take the 8 am bus to Bommerano to hike the Path of the Gods. (As an aside, the Italian public bus decided not to run that morning -- a story for another day.) The pool area is terrific and the staff there were wonderful as well. Enjoy!!

My wife and I stayed at the Marina Riviera in Amalfi for 6 days to celebrate our aniversary and it was the best 6 days of our 3 week vacation in Italy. Our room was a good size and very bright. We didn't go the extra for the balcony, but found the room totally adequate and used the hotel pool deck as our place to relax outside. The deck has an amazing view of Amalfi, a nice pool to cool off in, and the convenience of bar service that always served complementary snacks with our drinks order. The hotel was spotless and well maintained. The staff went out of their way to make our stay so good. You could tell that they were long term employees and totally committed to pleasing the guests. Nothing was too much trouble.
Having travelled all the way from Canada for this 3 week Italian vacation, this was far and away the best hotel that we came across and have passed on recommendation to some friends already. Don't bother to bring a car. You won't need one. We travelled by train from Rome to Salerno, then on to Amalfi by ferry. A great way to get there, plus my wife was not willing to take a bus trip on the winding coastal road. the ferry was quicker than the bus and offered great views along the way. If Amalfi is part of our future travels for us, we will definitely return to the Mariana Riviera.

Looking for anything specific in the Amalfi coast can be like finding a needle in a haystack, and though this hotel has a prime location at the base of town, we had a bit of trouble finding the hotel at first -- we drove right past and fortuitously stopped at their sister hotel for directions. The hunt was well worth it, as the Marina Riviera was a fantastic hotel. We spent three nights here for our honeymoon in a suite with a sea view. The suite included a balcony, four post bed (facing the window for great wake up calls!), a jacuzzi and a small reception area. The rooftop pool is a gem with similar coastal vistas complete with deck chairs and bar service. The location-- right along the main road through Amalfi -- provides easy access not only to the sights of Amalfi but also to ferry, bus and cab services to explore the surrounding areas. Breakfast was served either in their lounge area or in your room for no additional cost. Staff was very helpful and eager to assist guests with information or bookings as needed. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for an intimate getaway on the Amalfi coast.

Found the staff and the location magical. Room was very nice but a few points, running water from rooms above heard early morning, turn down service was very hit and miss at night.
1 small bottle to share of water on 1 of the 4 nights, bedstead was nice but 2 singles put together and not too comfortable and generally for the cost of the stay it was below what we expected.
The saving grace of our wonderful stay at Amalfi was the great staff (especially the evening staff)
