The focal point in the Amalfi square, the cathedral and the many, many steps that lead up to it, must surely impress most who see it, judging by the number of photographs being taken, from the top of the steps and through the cloister archs you get a good view of the tourist's milling about below, mainly near the water statue. Worth a visit, either inside or just from the outside, beware the occasional hoard of Japenese tours, best to avoid going inside when they are doing the same, the cost of entry is 3 eudos.

What a beautiful Cathedral. The crypt is amazing. Every inch covered in beautiful marble and fresco's depicting stories in the Bible or stories concerning g St. Andrew.

Gorgeous Church in the square of Amalfi. It was a beautiful thing to gaze on as we sat in the square for coffee or drinks.

Lovely views at night from the square when all lit up and beautiful to look at through the day. Quite small inside but very peaceful and inviting.

Big square, you can enjoy Amalfi beach which is just one street across the square. Many nice restaurants and good for all budget.
