During our stay at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, we walked up to this charming village for dinner at La Carcara two times. We were warmly greeted and seated on the patio by a very nice young man - we had a beautiful view of the mountains and Ravello to the northeast. Fresh seafood was presented and something similar to seabass was chosen, in addition to lemon pork scallopini - both were delicious. It was a spectacular meal from appetizers to dessert, including very good house wine and complementary lemoncello. Such wonderful service by Lucy and staff. The second time dining, we chose homemade pasta dishes which were equally delicious and brought some friends along who all enjoyed their meals as well. We were fortunate to chose a night where there was folk dancing in the square in front of the church and organized childrens games going on - a very special treat! What a beautiful town and enjoyable evening.
