“Don't go there - very bad”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

don't go there - very bad service, mediocre food. I went there because other Amalfi restaurants were either closed or did not have pezzogna fish on that sunday anymore. They did. But what a mistake to walk in. Overaall I was treated very unwelcomed. No italian hospitality whatsoever. Even If I left almost 50 EUR bill per one person I left that place with a very bad aftertaste. And I believe I was not the only one seeing other guests (foreigners) leaving quickly regretting being there that night. They need to grasp that their business depends on happy customers... I am definately not one of them and will never ever come back.

“Loved it”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

This was my favourite restaurant in Amalfi. Went based on Trip advisor recommendations, found it to be a good bit cheaper than any other restaurant in Amalfi, and the food more delicious. It's also a really lovely restaurant, it's kind of like sitting in someone's house, cosy and decorative and homely. Spinach ravioli was beautiful, veal was delicious. Went back a second time and would have gone a third time only we wanted to eat beside the water for one night. Oh try the baba, with lemon cream for desert....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Service was great. Definitely recommend to everyone who visits Amalfi. Just look for the signs to go up the stairs.

“Rustic Restaurant, good food and reasonable prices”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

Tucked away up stairs leading of the main street in Amalfi town, this quaintly rustic restaurant is a great place to eat for those who need to be economic in expensive Italy.
With house wine at €6 for 1/2 litre, caprese salad for €5 and a mixed fried fish dish for €12 as a shared lunch is just right. Cover charge €2 and water the same.
They have a variety of pizzas and mains all at reasonable prices.

“A bit out of the way but well worth the walk!”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

This restaurant site next to Meme Pizzeria in a back alley of Amalfi up a long stairs.

It is a family run operation with "Rosa" in charge.

Above average food at reasonable prices. Good service.

We had pizzas, contorni, vino and desserts all very good and personal service.

Worth the walk,

“Pizza at its best”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

Here you will get what we thought was the best pizza in Amalfi. It was crisp at the edges, and the toppings were reasonably generous. This is a proper Italian restaurant and the food is good. Being a bit of the beaten track from the obvious tourist trail, it feels much more like a local haunt. But it's not really difficult to find. There is a helpful sign at the beginning of the steps up to it from the main drag.
