We loved this hike, hired a guide. Lucy (you can find her in trip advisor) did a great job finding us quiet places to take pictures and discuss the area. I would recommend getting on the trail as early as you can. There are some parts rocky. I would recommend sturdy hiking boots or a walking stick.

This one is hard to describe...breathtaking is not adequate. God went all out with this one. We hiked from Agerola to Positano. There were 10 of us and we ranged in age from 23 to 53. It was not a difficult hike. The most strenuous part were the stairs at the end down to Positano. We highly recommend this hike!

Gabriella made this tour more than expected! She arranged to have our party of 7 picked up in Sorrento and taken to the starting point for the Path of the Gods tour in Bomerano. Although it was supposed to be “downhill” to Nocelle from here, I never went uphill so much but the views and Gabriella informative tour made it seem effortless! We celebrated the walk with a fantastic lunch! The fun continued with a walking tour of Positano with plenty of stops to allow the ladies to shop! She made the whole day special and took care of all the details so we could just enjoy the beautiful view! Highly recommend her for a special tour!

Beautiful hike. You can do the whole thing or turn around whenever you're tired. Breathtaking views.

Stunning hike along the top of he Amalfi Coast line. You do need to work out which way to do the trek - seems most people make their way to Bomerano to Nocelle and then walk down to Positano (1500 steep steps). We did it in reverse - walked up from Positano to Nocelle to start the trek (very steep 45 minute stairs) - only if you are quite fit. At Bomerano we caught a bus down to Amalfi (which was an experience) - but the bus has a limited timetable - so check first. We then were very lucky to get a ferry back to Positano. Seriously great hike and going in reverse we avoided all the crowds.

This hike was the highlight of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. We hired a driver to pick us up at the Naples train station and take us on the hike and then take us to our hotel in Sorrento. (If you are looking for transportation or tour guides, use Umberto Di Martino) A perfect way to start our trip to this area. We were dropped off in Bomerano and then picked up in Nocelle. The hike was not overly strenuous or narrow (like some of the ones in Cinque Terre). Took us about 2.5 hours, with lots of stops for pictures! Trail was easy to follow and marked well - you cannot get lost. We also saw donkeys and goats along the way - fun!

this is a wonderful hike in every standard, and you don't need to join the tour to save money
the entire trail is marked very clearly and it is very easy to follow
the view is spectacular and you won't regret, it only takes about 4 hours
make sure you wear a good hiking shoes
once you reach the end - Nocelle, you can take bus back to town or you can take another adventure by walking down around 1,800 steps down to Positano
nevertheless, this 1,800 steps down is not easy

This hike is breathtaking! It is hard to find information about the hike, so we talked to some locals. The best thing to do (if you don't want to hike from bottom to top) is take the bus to Bomerano and hike down. It took us around 3 hours to hike down with stopping for lunch on the cliffside. If you're into hiking, you have to do this hike! It was the highlight of our trip for me!!

5 of us hired a transfer from Positano to the beginning of the trail in Bomerano. We got an early start ,as it was a very hot day for the first of June. Make sure you take plenty of water and snacks, athough we saw several areas were you could get water, the taps were not working.. We finished off the walk with lunch at Tratoria La Tagliata. Amazing food, and fantastic Aperol spritzers. The only thing I did not enjoy was the 1500 steps back down to Positano. My knees were protesting all the way down.

It was the highlight of our 2 week Italian vacation!!
