Three or four times a year we make a two hour drive to Turner Valley for breakfast at the Chuck Wagon. Saturdays, be prepared to wait for a table at 9:00 am. Great portions, good prices, cowboy decor and lots of cowboy hats. You are in cattle country. Smoked salmon eggs Benedict available on weekends, steak and eggs any day. Well worth the trip! I have been told that they serve fantastic burgers, but have never made it there in time.. They close mid afternoon.

My wife and I have enjoyed 3 Breakfasts and 1 lunch here and every time has been excellent. The meals are reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. Go there with a big appetite.
The staff and locals are very friendly and add to a enjoyable visit. The menu has a great selection and the quality of the home cooked food is delicious. We live in Calgary and it is a nice drive out to Turner Valley. Having a nice meal during the nice little trip makes all the more worth while.

We have been here a number of times and never had a bad meal. I love how everything is freshly made in house and how friendly the staff is. Immediately when you walk in you feel at home and even if there is a wait to be seated (often on weekends due to the popularity) it is definitely worth the wait and everyone is always in such a good mood. Their burgers come out with a caramelized texture to them and taste amazing. Home cut fries, amazing beef and barley soup, and their flatiron steak benedict is to die for. THIS is a place to go out of your way for!

This restaurant is the real thing! The trucks in the parking lot aren't shiny clean and fancy but dirty from hard work on dirt roads; the customers are locals who are friendly and relaxed. The food is substantial and tasty and the service is efficient, witty and friendly. The decoration is Alberta foothills ranch to the core and reflects the surrounding community. Even though obvious tourists we felt immediately at home and had some great conversations with the waitresses. Can't recommend enough!!
