I personally loved this hotel, bright, modern with a bit of sparkle. Beautiful dining area, breakfast was ok, the evening meal was quite special.
Staff seem a bit rushed but quite helpful.
The outside pool and gardens are very nice.
Would stay here again.

This place was a Hilton Garden Inn until a year or so ago. It's "Americanized" with an ice machine, coffee pot, mini-fridge , and HGI beds.

The room was adequate, but small by US standards. Bed was good. I'm not sure if they had AC; it did not cool for me, only heat.

Wi-Fi was funky; you had to get a small piece of paper with a code number. One paper per device per day.

Overall the bed was good and it was clean. What more do you need?

Stayed for two nights on a Riviera tour. The hotel is large and is some distance outside Matera incongruously situated in a small village which seems to consist of houses and a large shopping centre which cannot be accessed from the hotel as it's across a major highway. That being said, this is a lovely modern hotel in very extensive and pretty landscaped grounds, ideal for a walk.

Although away from Matera, the hotel will organise a minibus if requested, for a cost of EUR 20 for four people (as at May 2019). There is also a local public bus service (Number 7) which stops right outside the hotel and runs approximately hourly.

There is a large restaurant area with a bar and some outside seating and a large outdoor pool. There is also a good indoor pool and spa area but a little difficult to get to with the confusing lift system.

Our room very comfortable if a little small and the bed was extremely comfortable - possibly the nicest of our trip. Food at dinner and breakfast was very good and the service for our group was friendly and efficient.

This was a nice hotel and seemed to cater well with our group.

Matera is famous for Sasi, ancient cave dwelling recognized as world heritage. Matera is also European capital of culture.

MH Matera still retains their professionalism after parting ways with Hilton.

All are being well done from room, breakfast, customer service, and value. We enjoy breakfast, which is far better than similar hotels in Sicily.

This hotel can be spotted from few kilometers on the highway as it is the only building on that side of the otherwise flat highway. The approach to the hotel is through a deserted road. The hotel is big with good facade, ample parking, a big lobby, a glass elevator and English speaking Front Office staff. The rooms are small and there are no good visuals from the window. The rooms have tea / coffee maker and a small refrigerator. The restaurant at the basement is huge and there is separate section that can be reserved for VIPs. The Banquet Hall 'Sala Carubi' is huge too. At a walking distance, across the highway is Centro Commercialle Mongolfiera Matera Venusio where you can shop at few stores for clothes and shoes, buy essentials or have food at Iper Coop or buy D-I-Y stuff from Brico lo. Ample parking there too.
