Four of us had dinner here on October 14. The atmosphere was homey, no frills, but warm and inviting. Mixture of english and italian speaking diners. We had antipasti and thought it excellent, especially the sense peppers and eggplant. Also the zucchini with fennel. Pasta cooked well with wonderful combination of flavors ( chickpeas and chicory). Wine from matera at €18 bottle. Two main courses to share. Bill came to €135. Other places in Matera looked to be more more expensive. Our waitress was low key and sweet. No complaints at all. And as noted by other reviewers, the card machine was "not working" and we paid cash.
