Casa Christiana is situated on a quiet hillside overlooking a beautiful valley in one direction and fantastic views of the Apennine Mountains and Gran Sasso in the other. The facilities are lovely including a beautiful big swimming pool which we took full advantage of.
Two things you are assured of a at Casa Christiana are a warm welcome, and a great fresh breakfast. Our hosts - Rita and Gerry went to great lengths to ensure our stay was perfect. They recommended many superb local restaurants, and also booked us in, as we speak no Italian. The local food and wine alone are enough to keep us going back, but Casa Christiana is also like a small piece of God's own garden.
Lovely place, highly recommended - we'll be back!

A super 4 night stay at Casa Christina. It really is a great location....the drive down to the coast is easy and local towns Penne, Loreto Aprutino and Pianella are all pretty close and easily found. The roads are in good condition around all these areas and a joy to drive on....after you get used to Italian driving habits.

If you haven't been to Abruzzo before then you're in for a real treat. The countryside is stunning and the people are welcoming. There's a working vineyard a few miles away, "San Lorenzo" with it's own shop. You can get all this info from Gerry and Rita.

We had a smashing time....thank you both. See you in the summer.

Room tip: Gerry is adding a bbq...this place is terrific

So many wonderful things to say about Casa Christiana and our lovely hosts, Gerry & Rita. We were a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) starting off a 2 week Italian vacation. After a long flight and long drive from Rome, we arrived at the perfect spot. Do not be alarmed at it's off the beaten path location - it's worth it. Gerry & Rita welcomed us as if we were family. The pool is large and clean and was a great area for the kids to burn off some steam. Excellent breakfast every day and our rooms were perfect for our number of people. Great restaurants nearby, all easily accessible by car. We were sad to leave and hope to visit again in the future!!

what a perfect place to get away and relax, with perfect hosts.
It is a little far from the beach but not so bad, definitely too far off the beaten path not to have a car. Beautiful views from every angle and close to some smaller towns for dinners.
If I had any negative to say, (and it has nothing to do with the property) the drive in for the first time can be confusing, especially if you are from North America, the property is only 15 minutes off the highway, and google maps made it seem like fifteen different streets, where really it was only 5 streets with a few roundabouts thrown in, but after an 8 hour overnight flight and 3 hour drive from Rome, the map became way more confusing than the drive actually was. That said for a great relaxing or exploring holiday, you will get no better hosts than Gerald and Rita

Room tip: our room faced east with spectacular views but there was some late night dog barking (far-off neighbors) so for a more peaceful sleep, get a western facing room and enjoy the eastern views in the day

Casa Christiana is a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The room quality is excellent and Josephine kept our bedroom refreshed everyday. The views are stunning - patchwork olive groves and small fields with the backdrop of Gran Sasso mountain range. Gerry and Rita made us very welcome and we were free to lounge around the beautiful swimming pool as much as we wanted. Our hosts shared plenty of their experiences of the area with us and pointed us in the right direction. However, do make sure you buy a map on the way to the B&B because it is essential as our Garmin got very confused! Casa Christiana was a big part of us enjoying our holiday so much.
