Best Western Hotel Plaza
Ranked #5 of 23 Hotels in Pescara
Reviewed January 9, 2014

Average. This is the good description. Ambience is not warm, nor cold. Well located, rooms are narrow, if you pretend to open a big suitcase you should do it on the bed. Breakfast is good (not exceptional), if you want to take a shower you should wait 5 minutes to get the water not boiling, nor iced. If your room is on the back side and open the curtain remind that the next house window is very close... The souvenir of this hotel flows like water under a bridge.
A-ve-ra-ge.

Room Tip: Ensure your room is not on the hotel back side.

Away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance of the beach, on a quiet square. Comfortable beds, tiny rooms and the wallpaper was ca 1970... but everything we needed was there and in working order. The room did have one of those tiny corner showers with sliding doors we both hate, but for one night it was fine. Very nice buffet style breakfast.

Great buffet breakfast, in the heart of the city which never seemed to sleep, walking distance to the beach and stores. Beautifully equipeed room, there was even a trouser press! Really comfy with a fitted wardrobe etc. Would recommend this one to anyone. Cons...not great parking and the church bells may be disturbing to some people.

The hotel is located two minutes from the railway station, on the main pedestrian street, a 10-minute walk from the sea. The nearby church, so that someone can strain the bells and the sound of trains.
Rooms decorated in classical style typical of the hotels built 20-30 years ago. Plumbing, television, air conditioning - not new, but still functioned. There was free internet in the room through a cable connection, not Wi-Fi. The rooms have a balcony, and there is no balcony, the price is the same.
POWER.
Breakfasts were uniform, but we have each other and did not expect this level of a city hotel. Every day there were two types of yogurt, 3-4 types of pastries, 2-3 kinds of cheese, oranges, apples, sausages, eggs boiled, scrambled eggs, several kinds of tea, several kinds of coffee.
SERVICE.
Cleaned daily. If you have a question or eviction from the conduct of payment by card.
As I wrote above, the hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the sea. The sea itself at this resort shallow, sandy beaches, just 50 meters from the sea wall stand. Regarding beach service: We as cultural tourists))) honestly tried to find a beach fighting to clarify the amount of payment for beach equipment. It looked like this: looking for a fight the scourge, not find, come to the bar, located on a certain area of the beach, ask how much an umbrella and a chaise lounge, bar workers, first, look at us as aliens, but not sent to fight the scourge of Second, after a long pause uncertainly declared amount (15-20 euros - a chaise lounge and a small umbrella, a 35-30 euros - two sun beds, large umbrella. This scenario has been on three or four beaches. After that, the thought creeps us so, if hard to find fighting the scourge, which means that it is not, and no one controls you have to pay for the equipment or not, that you can lie on the chaise longue and relax while someone is fit, then pay. So we and made all four days of rest. fact that we managed to save 40 euros a day, a warming spirit. It should be noted that the hotel we were offered to buy from them as it passes to the beach for 16 euros per person in the second line, 32 euros - first line. Thank God that we did not, although seen as German, British tourists buy these passes.
The resort itself is divided into two parts of the river, which flows into the sea. As it seemed to me that part where the r / w station, such as popriyatnee will, in terms of civilization: the large shops, a pedestrian avenue, more restaurants, etc.
In general, the evaluation of the resort is. The resort, a typical seaside town, I will note the city, rather than a village. From the port, good transport infrastructure, discos, restaurants, shops, promenade, promenade, a very beautiful bridge.

Next time, if you choose holidays in Pescara in the same part of the family, I was not against staying at this hotel.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this BW hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and made sure our stay was wonderful. The rooms are small - the European standard of course - so don't go expecting an American size hotel room. Beds are comfy and bathroom was spotless. The bidet in bathroom and a mini-fridge were an added bonus. Hotel was the PERFECT location, located right across the street from the train station and bus station. Countless cafes and bars within a 5 min walk. Amazing stay!

The Hotel Plaza is located on a lovely square just off of the main street. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. Large windows and a small balcony opened to the square. Delicious breakfast daily and a helpful staff who always had good suggestions on shopping and dining.

Hotel is really nice. The room is small for one person but has all
amenities, nice bed. Breakfast is also very good; free use of internet in
computers provided by the hotel and I believe free as well if you take your
own. The thing is I made a stop in Pescara in my car trip from Alberobello
to Firenze. I did not want to drive that much in a day. But, honestly I
expected more of the city. The hotel is close to the coast which seems nice
(was not summer so I am not sure how it should be by then) but it was
dirty, restaurants surrounding it were overpriced. I sat in one and since
they were taking forever to take my order I just left and found a good one
farther away from the coast. The square in front of the hotel was simply
full of drunks, as well as several streets in the vicinity. It just gave me
a bad impression from the start. You can park your car at the side of that
square, in hotel assigned space, and honestly, I was afraid not to find it
the next morning and was glad I had paid the full insurance when renting
it. However, it seemed like drunks (and from what I could see junkies too)
were dedicated to their own little worlds, even though the police went
around a lot and parked there as well.
So, my review for the hotel is great, but for Pescara it says that it was
the only place that I did not like in my Italy stay. At all.
