“WOW!”
Reviewed December 14, 2013

The hotel around the corner recommended this place and we think this may be the best restaurant in Spain so far that we have experienced. We are on a two week stay and have had some incredible meals while we are here visiting this lovely country.

Ordered the seafood paella as we heard that Valencia is known for the best paella in the country
and WOW! Be sure to save room as it was a huge meal and every course was exquisite. Enjoy!!!

“Brilliant find”

Lovely restaurant. Read about it in Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. Really enjoyed it. Ambiance, food and staff marvellous. Went back again one week later and took some other friends who were very impressed.

“Great food with local flavour”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

Locally sourced and presented in traditional ways without being hidebound. The atmosphere was light and very amiable. Great wine by the glass. The owner manager was very warm and charming. We were pleased. Definitely book ahead.

“Why not the 1st?!!!”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

Following the recommendations of Tripadvisor I visited this place and I'm still very satisfied. Very friendly staff (Ingrid the best, thank you for attention and understanding), clean and comfortable room and fantastic food. Very interesting combination of ingredients in starters and memorable paella marisco. Only one thing you should remember - paella for two is really intended as plate for at minimum four - it is not big - it is huge with lots of seafood. We could not stop tasting it in the midday and that day we should miss dinner to avoid overeating. I hope you all the best!

“A lovely 4-star!”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

From the first moment we stepped into the restaurant and to the very end when we said goodbye, Cristina and her colleagues made us feel very welcome. This restaurant is to love and could deserve a 5, but the food is not quite a 5 and let me explain why.
The starters were great (gazpacho, consummé and gambas), but the main courses (one code fish and two sharing the platter of grilled seafood) didn't reach all the way to the top. The grilled gambas were not grilled enough, the mussels were cold and so were the fish and squid on the platter as well. The code fish was warm and nice but the shrimp on the plate also cold.
Maybe a little more spices on the food in general could have been appropriate, but that's a matter of opinion.
The desserts were amazing and big! The wine recommended by Cristina was super!
Cristina and all, we'd love to come back, but the next time we would like our food warm. Otherwise, you have a lovely restaurant and you treat your guests in the best way possible!
Thanks!
