“Well staffed”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

We visited this restaurant at 1330 on a Saturday and found a big choice of tables available, as most customers arrived later. The thought that struck me as we entered was that the meal would be expensive because we would have to pay for all the well dressed waiters that were available for so few customers! Luckily the restaurant soon filled up! Clearly the restauant knows it's business well.

The table was very well presented and waiters were most polite and had a sense of humour. Our starter of 'jamon & queso' was good & garnished with almonds. The flavour of the requested "sucarat paella Valenciana" was not cooked to "sucurat" even though I joked with the waiter that he could bring it the colour of his black trousers! One day I will live to regret my joke no doubt!

Prices (inc. IVA), are bit 'steep' as a G & T was € 7.08 & a small beer was € 3.08...but there are all those staff for which to pay!

Overall, a pleasant visit.

“Okay food with nice location”
Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and his family decided to eat here- we had paella, salad and mixed tapas. The paella was ok, a little salty- service was slow. We had to ask for napkins many time and ended up using our own store bought tissues. It was busy- the restaurant was full- I am sure they could improve on the service. The food over all was okay- fresh salad. The location is great though- the beach is right outside the terrace. Wouldn't really go back again...

“Beautiful view, lovely food”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

This was a lovely restaurant located right on the front of the beach and is part of the marina with a beautiful view. The food was nice, we had the paella as it had to be tasted before we went back home! And this restaurant had been recommended to us by a local we met on the flight over! The staff were very good, quick and attentive. It's quite expensive but definitely worth it as a last night meal!! It was quite a cold restaurant with no real warmth or atmosphere but it was extremely busy and even then we were still looked after and didn't really have to wait for our food.

“Nice Restaurant with Mediterranean View”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

We had lunch here as part of an NCL shore excursion. The paella and other items were pretty good. The service was very good and the sangria kept flowing. It has a great view of the beach and Mediterranean.

“A classic establishment for an excellent rice and a view of the sea”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Thoroughly enjoyed a delicious black rice yesterday with an ensalada mixta and a bottle of cold rosé. There may be better paella dishes in Valencia though the classic atmosphere here, the view of the sea and the service made it a delightful and delicious respite from an otherwise busy work trip. I look forward to returning and to trying additional dishes.
