Very very close to the heart of the old city, we found this little gem. The weather was great, even though it was end October, so we took a place outside. The service was super, friendly, fast, slow if needed, the food was great, mussels, jamon, delicious brochettas, the wine they proposed very good and cheap...this is really a very nice experience.

Great food served curbside in a quiet side street
An amazing array of choices. The prawns the langoustines and the Cerrano Ham are out of this world and the prices are a steal.very nice people only problem is you may never leave!

A gem near the Plaza de la Virgen serving excellent tapas. A bit off the beaten track, the tables outside were a relaxing respite from the tourist masses. We enjoyed lunch (open at 1:30) during our short day visit off a cruise, and chose a few different tapas dishes. The squid was a standout, as were the langostino. Highly recommended.

We spend two evenings here. The first was just for couple of drinks, but the red wine by the glass was really good. And the proprietor gave us a taste before pouring a glass. The dining room looked nice so we came back the next evening for dinner. The wine was still great, and there was some great bottled beers (not the usual lagers). Sadly the food wasn't quite up to the same high standard. Paella was too salty, though from memory the starters were pretty good (can't remember what they were though).

The atmosphere was friendly. Quite a few other tourists, but it was easy to strike up conversations with other drinkers/diners.

This bar is a great spot, close to the cathedral, to wile away an hour or two.
