We took quite the hike to get to the "Best Paella in Spain" and had a great experience. Several Valencians recommended this restaurant to us. The staff was very nice, however we felt slightly overwhelmed at all the different kinds of Paella and our first server didn't offer much insight or recommendation...but it could also have been the language barrier. The most important part was the Seafood Paella which was amazing!! I recommend serving it yourself so that you can scoop the caramelized rice from the bottom of the pan! That was the tastiest part. This restaurant also has a very beautiful atmosphere. Our younger server, Alex was fantastic. He was funny, he was always checking on us and he really tried to use his best English for us. He even offered us a ride back to Valencia since we were going to have to wait hours for the bus to come! This was one of the priciest restaurants we ate at in Spain but I think they are trying to maintain their reputation as an upscale restaurant. Be aware that the price on the menu (which says it serves a minimum of 2 people) is actually the price for just one person. We paid about 18 Euros per person for the Paella.
