“More climbing steps”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

Another great vantage point to see the beautiful city of Valencia. The historic city wall towers over it surroundings, providing a great view once you have tackled the steps. Go on a Sunday when entry is free. There is not much to see inside but the view more than makes up for it.

“Poor mans' Serrano”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

For me, nothing to recommend this building. Yes, there are a good few dents that are said to come from cannonballs. So what city gate has not lost a few stones under attack? Poor location.

“Another blast from the past!”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

Anytime we can visit a medievil structure like this , we jump at the chance. You can see the battle scars on each tower. A climb to the top gets good views of the city center. 2 euros but free on Sundays. Think of what it would have been like to be there over 500 years ago?

“Big Chess Pieces!”
Reviewed June 2, 2012

We went to the towers late afternoon and nobody else was about. We paid 2euro each (I saw someone mention it was free, but we paid) and it was a nice wander through the different rooms and up to the top. Not any signage or information available, but you get the idea. Great view from the top too.
