Unfortunately this place is not city centre - you need to at least jump on a bus or metro (which is still a reasonable distance away). The area it is located is not exactly the busiest (even for what seemed a busy road).

However the place is pleasant! We were extremely thankful for them allowing us to check in alot earlier than the typical time (we checked in at 8am). The staff we dealt with were friendly and assisted us in terms of tourist attractions and how to get about.

The room was great. It was spacious and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom also spacious and clean.

The food was overpriced there, so we recommend you find something in the city centre.

It is great value for money if you want something nice, however I would recommend elsewhere if you prefer to be situated in the city centre - the metro does not run too frequently unlike some other spanish cities, so you would have to rely moreso on the buses (which is not a bad thing but still causes delays)

this is a quiet hotel in the port area of the city the room we were given was very good plenty of space and a huge double bed the shower or bath were excellent and the hot water was always hot
the hotel has a small gym a cafe and restaurant it is situated on a busy main road with a short walk to either buses or metro it has an underground car park at reasonable rates. we paid
£50 for the room and breakfast which is very good value. the buffet breakfast offered was a very good selection but was let down by the hot food offered being cold there is a grill for toast which you can reheat the food under but obviously this dries out the eggs etc. they also only offer flora margarine no butter which i feel is wrong. the public transport system is excellent and cheap and gets you to the city and or the city of arts and sciences within a few minuets

We stayed here for one night while visiting Spanish friends nearby.

The location suited us fine, as it was approx halfway between Port/beach and city centre. We very much liked the converted building of the hotel from an old flour mill. The small garden and courtyard area's were very pleasant and on warm days would be a very nice area to relax.

The receptionist was friendly and polite and spoke very good english. Our room was comfortable and overlooked the court yard. The only english speaking TV channel we could find was eurosport.

We booked for breakfast (buffet) which was excellent value for money. There was a wide choice of cold and cooked foods available. However the cooked food was not hot and benifited from my warming the food under the toaster grill. (warning the plate get's very hot) The coffee machine was excellent once the waitress kindly showed me how to use it correctly.

We parked our hire car in the hotel's underground car park which is 10 euros for 24hrs

I should have filled in the customer satisfaction form in our room to suggest they put a microwave in the breakfast room (but we had no pen in our room)

Apart from nearly burning my fingers in the toaster! we really enjoyed our visit.

Room Tip: We had room 124 overlooking court yard which was quiet.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights last week, and the stay was comfortable. However, the hotel is not that special, with a basic (but also inexpensive) breakfast, and according to me 3-star rated rooms, which are pretty noisy.

Hello Mr. l_y_k_3_l_3

Thank you for your comments, they help us to improve.

Regret that in your opinion the room was a 3-star. All the rooms are 4 stars.

I must admit that, given the characteristics of the building, there are some rooms that are larger than others but all comply with the rules of a 4 star hotel.

Let me again say you thank you for your comment and when you returns to Valencia we hope that come another time with us and we'll try to have one of the largest rooms.

Yours sincerely

Francesc Holgado

The hotel is a typical 4 star with better than avg rooms and great reception service. The location is very much in the outskirts of Valencia and not an area built for tourists. However the buses are cheap and frequent. If you stay here be prepared to do a lot of walking!

Dear Mr. Morales,

thank you for your comment left on TripAdvisor.

I'm sorry you had to walk a lot, Solvasa Valencia Hotel is located closer to the City of Arts and Sciences, CAC, that the historic center but the hotel is very well connected by bus and Metro.

Thank you very much again.
